i like the fact that they added in backend tweaks for things like weapons and such
just give the game dedicated servers ad all issues are solved
you people act like i'm flaming the game, i'm just saying it 'feels' similar from the videos at least
its feels like a combo of gears and battlefield in some ways
just an observation, no need to get up in arms, the reason i compared it to gears is because it is the game of most recent memory that has these same elements
keep in mind im not stirring anything up this is an innocent observation:
these are the first in depth gameplay videos i've watched and the gameplay mechanic seems very much like a first person gears of war, has a very similar feel about it
shoot some enemys, advance to the next spot of cover, im not bashing the game but it seems that things in KZ2 are very reminiscent of gears in some spots(cover system style, blood splatters, pace of play, mood lighting)
this game looks very impressive, there hasnt been a good ufc game since the very first one on dreamcast, that game was great
it would be nice if they would incorporate some ufc legends as well
it would be nice to see guys like mark coleman, dan severn, and royce gracie, and the shamrocks thrown in
perhaps in a later installment
realistically there isn't a lot of blood in the ufc these days
fights are stopped really quick now compared to the old days, but i'm sure blood will be there in some capacity
just because a game doesn't have ketchup faced fighters doesn't mean it can't be good
your point being?
if Avi Arad is the producer they have serious bank to play with, he does all of marvels movies
he also owns the film rights to mass effect and a few other games, the guy is taking games to the movies like comics have been for the last few years
given his list of credits i'd say hes been rather successful
this game was hug in japan for some reason, anytime you played online it was always a bunch of japanese people
and honestly for a big time special effect movie that isn't that much
spiderman 3 cost something like 250 million to produce, the alst pirates of the carribean was around 300 mill, dark knight was around 190 million, iron man was 140 million
i dont doubt that figure one bit, 100 million for a movie that is guaranteed to have a lot of highend cg ...
now this guy is just trying to save face but he ends up looking foolish
other games use the guitar hero controller as well, are they knockoffs too? there is even a rhythm game on xbla that allows specific use of the guitar controller...the name of it escapes me though
what about every single other rhythm game that came before hand with scrolling color indicators?
guitar freaks and beat mania were doing the scrolling music thing well before guitar hero,...
this article is full of BS, live doesn't require a credit card, the game CANNOT require an update unless you are online
if it does prompt for an update some how all you do is go down to "do not update"
i have a hard time believing this guy, or he is just an idiot
he noted that "he must have misse3d something" with the credit card thing, yeah he missed the onscreen instructions and the printed instructions on his live card
well i'm glad these people aren't my parents
ridiculous views like this do more harm than good
actually surprised about shaun white, i didn't leave with a very good impression when i played it at a friends house, and i personally don't know anyone else who bought it so i'm surprised
if pc is such a threat to the 360 then why do games only sell a fraction of what the sell on 360 on the pc platform?
uniform hardware, that is why, a lot of people (myself included) grew tired of fiddling with hardware every time they wanted to play a new pc game
with 360 you don't need x amount of ram, a video card capable of this or that, you don't need to download drivers, you won't have soundcard conflicts, or have to play on a low detail setting because your tex...
i was referring to business as in MS securing exclusives, not ubi
and it doesn't help me enjoy it more, but relating back to business, exclusive titles attract buyers, if somebody is looking for a new splinter cell game then it comes down to it only being on 360 which could influence their decision
the comment did not have anything to do with my taste for the game, or choice of system it was merely a statement of fact and influence of exclusive titles
i ...
personally i think a 9.5 is a little high, the game is extremely repetitive and loses its novelty after a relatively short period of time
yeah you can see anyone with a camera
i dont have a camera and i see people fine
why is it not a smart business move?
if the game turns out to be good it could potentially move some hardware
i also find it odd that your original comment was "why!!" but now it is "Great for myself and other 360 fans"
did you seriously just say the graphics and gameplay weren't any better than gta3?
you really are delusional
while gta4 didn't match the hype(it never could have) saying something like that is just ridiculous
go back and play gta3 again and try saying the same thing
community games is too flooded with crap to actually find anythign compelling
the ones that are compelling enough could be released as regular arcade games with achievements and such so i don't really understand the whole thing
well they did block their netflix movies on 360 for a little while so you never know whats going to happen
have you played since the patch?
it is a completely different game and has actually been fun the last couple times i've played(aside from the 2 times i ran into standbyers)
the game isn't 'broken', at this point it is no more flawed than games like cod:waw
