they never showed a game, all of those screens were renders for a game that was supposedly being developed
I highly doubt that game will ever show up, it is claimed to still be in development but nothing new has surfaced in a couple years and all they have are those first 3 screens
how exactly is an open world game shovelware?
are you even aware of the effort that has to go into these games?
as for saying red dead was shovelware, I don't know what to say I feel sorry that you are that miserable and cynical about life
I always buy my points this way, I really hope they don't ditch that...not to keen on having credit info on any of my consoles
i'm saying in general, all 3 controls require vastly different ranges of motions...it fully depends on the game
some you need to flail, others you can get away with a tilt
but then the question comes into play, if you can do it by barely moving then what is the point of it being motion enabled?
I just think it is a tacky fad and not really a desirable accessory to me, others may have a differing opinion but that is mine
not all of us really want motion controls, personally I have no real interest in them because most of the time when I game I'm tired and feeling like I want to relax
flailing my arms around doesn't really appeal to me, same reason why I don't have a wii or buying kinect

if this were the Irish mafia they wouldn't care...and the game would be more brutal
wish this game had multiplayer or co-op of some sort...otherwise it looks really cool
even an online free roam would have been fun

some many people bag on this game but still there is still at least a quarter million people online every night on xbox live
these so call "journalists" need to spend their time on something else
not to mention lately there have been monthly discounts to get a year for 40, and even 30 from some place
if you are paying 11 a month you are getting hosed somewhere

nothing like giving us a reskinned but worse version of bad company and calling it a new game
wow this game must have sucked because it was way deep into the dev cycle, it was playable over a year ago
but the thing is we know it wont be properly fixed, it never is
there was so much stuff jacked up in bad company 2 and it had a beta too...

a single game lacking a lot of the features of gears will not make it obsolete
gears is a well established franchise selling millions of copies on first day alone, with die hard fans around the world
this game will not and cannot erase that, that is just a silly way to think
the game may be good, it may succeed on it's own but to remove gears from the public mind will be a bit tough
that is like saying a new unproven game...

anybody who has played the game knows it doesn't look as good as those screenshots they were using
