Already talks of downgrade... You gotta remember this game isn't coming to Last gen so very little downgrading will be needed if any. People claimed The Order would receive a downgrade, and that never happened.
They probably didn't they probably built was it to be the core of the game and that is it. That isn't to say there won't be any DLC but they are working on it as the base game makes the rounds.
Watch the video by open world games on youtube, they pretty much said this before the devs started hyping themselves up.

The fact the game isn't coming to last gen consoles says something for the visuals we could see in game.

The battle of Jakku could introduce space battles, on the panel they did hint at the DLC revealing what happened to the destroyed Star destroyer in the new Episode 7 trailer.
So I have a hunch.. Battle of Jakku is going to tie in with Episode 7. and on the panel they revealed that the DLC will explain what happened to the Star destroyer in the trailer. Battle of Jakku could introduce space combat into Battlefront, and for free.
My excitement for the game lessens by the day. This could of been a masterpiece of a game, if EA wasn't involved.
You gotta remember how marketing jargon works, Early access may allow subscribers to play the game early, but it doesn't mean that the marketing deal can't allow PS4 users to play it even sooner.
They've also claimed it looks the same across all platforms, and The rumor this morning is Sony has the marketing rights, similar to what they did with Destiny.

Playable first through EA, but if that Playstation Brazil rumor is to be true, Battlefront will go the way of Destiny and Playstation marketing.
The second a special edition goes up for pre order I'm all over it.
It's a reboot not a sequel.
Can't wait for this game.. and Ninja Theory's approach to development is fascinating.
