So when moves goes the way of the eye toy for lack of marketing, maybe you will realize that spending money on marketing in media in a completely media based society isn't being desperate, its being smart.
Spending money that you have plenty of to advertise your biggest new product hardly seems desperate.
Its also funny that you think Sony doesn't have any sort of urgency to sell Move, but MS does.....
Although it will suck to see the decline of Xbox hardcore gaming if this succeeds, I'm not sure that I can really blame MS for going with what makes them the most money.
We all know what the casual market can do in comparison to the hardcore market in terms of sales and money. It was proven by the Wii this generation. I am going to be upset because there won't be hardcore support for the 360 or future xbox, but I really cannot get mad that MS is trying to do what co...
The release games are shitty for hardcore gamers, but are exactly the type of games the casual market will eat up.
The Kinect lag won't matter either to the casual market. Just look at how bad the WiiMote was and still is.
I think Kinect will sell well for a while. The casual market is completely different from the hardcore market.
I think you summed it up pretty well. +1
its not...its another chance for the fanboys to make some dumb comments...As you can see from the first comment.
But its not just the fact that you wear the glasses. You have to take into consideration the price. Especially when you know that there will be a TV down the line that you don't need glasses, so why buy now?
And of course i agree that we would all love to have Hologram type displays, but thats not where we are right now...and I agree that it has to start somewhere and develop from there and I support that development. I'm not going to buy it at the current state tho...
"If MS made tvs they would never shut up about how good 3D is...... "
MS verbally backs all of their products as much as Sony, but when that happens you start complaining when they do.
You also see Sony verbally downplaying things that MS does, just like MS is doing with 3D.
Stop whining and realize that both MS and Sony are companies out to make a profit.
You take offense to everyday business practices tha...
@3nd3rth3
There is a difference between discrediting the development of the tech and discrediting the current state of the tech.
You can't discredit the development of 3D because it will only expand the ways gamers can game, but i think you can discredit the current state of 3D.
Wearing expensive glasses to use 3D is where I discredit the current state of 3D technology. I really hope they do develop the tech further so that I can ga...
@DarnNikon
Aren't all PS3 fans hoping for a shadow of the collosus remake?
With that said, I don't see how remaking THE game that made the 360 relevant is a bad thing.
yeah i agree with what you said.
I will gamefly it instead of buying it now.
Because graphics are synonymous with quality... didn't you know that? Atleast they are on N4G.
Onanie
Read Onanie's first post. Calling people butthurt and ignorant on a Sony vs MS fanboy N4G because they don't like the current 3D technology which is "coincidentally" backed fully by Sony doesn't have anything to do with console fanboyism?
Come on, don't be naive.
"Your entire argument does actually read like a euphamism for being butthurt."
Yeah I am a butthurt 360 fanboy who thinks ...
So you are on a website full of fanboys coincidentally confessing your diehard love for a product fully backed by Sony and not by MS, and calling anyone who doesn't do the same butthurt and ignorant. Interesting.
No one said you were making people buy a TV, but you are calling anyone who doesn't agree to your "you must love 3D" viewpoint as ignorant and butthurt.
If you read my post earlier, I said that 3D is awesome. So i'm not sure arg...
mispost
or use a cheap azz USB stick
Pekolie, your conspiracy theory is wrong.
Take your PS3 bias out of this for a second.
3D is great, and I don't see how anybody could say it isn't. It's the fact that, like you said, a lot of people already have a 2D HDTV but people like you are trying to force others into thinking that 3D is the second coming of Christ instead of a revived and upgraded 20 year old tech idea that isnt worth buying at the moment.
"everything said bad about it was said about hdtv and blu-ray to start with"
I respectfully think your comparison is off. A new format was needed. SDTVs were becoming outdated. I'm not going to say 3D won't succeed because i dont know, but comparing it to the phasing out of SDTV for HDTV and is the wrong comparison.
Same with Blu-Ray. Once the HD ball started rolling, it was inevitable that a new HD disc format would have to succeed. Th...
oooh snap
i thought that was his worst commercial actually
It was just popular because it was directly making fun of the competition.
Other than that commercial, every other one is absolutely hilarious.
could you imagine if he became the Kevion Butler of the 360. I think that would be smart for MS to think about.
