It came out 2 years after Borderlands and they had 9 separate prequel co-op missions in many of the single player mission areas but designed specifically for co-op.
I wouldn't be surprised in the new one if they had a bigger open world and allowed more co-op.
I wouldn't expect the game itself to be based around co-op like Borderlands, but be more friendly to co-op similar to Far Cry 4 where it's purely optional and just a fun bonus.
I would expect this upcoming one to take everything father and expand on it. So I could easily see a bit more rpg so maybe some abilities/skills (which would be new) built around play styles and/or gear, outfits, armor, etc... to customize towards play styles (also would be new). I wouldn't expect it to be anything like fallout.
If the rpg elements is what intrigues you I would look out for news because they were fairly transparent before releasing last game but many di...
One of the unfair critiques of this game was many people (even reviewers) expecting it to be more like a Fallout type game with vehicles. When id talked about RPG elements they often reminded everyone it was "first and foremost a first person shooter". Many didn't seem to pay attention to what the makers themselves stressed many times over and pooped on the game for not being the one they imagined in their own minds.
Having said that though everything about th...
From the information released so far it will give cleaner kills while hunting which equals higher value and obviously it's also pretty much silent so allows for stealth kills against prey or enemies.
This and PS4 Pro should be great looking considering GTAV is from 2013/2014 and has no upgrades for either yet still looks pretty good in many departments today.
Will be nice to see what they can do pushing both "premium" consoles for once. I really hope they push as much as they can and not hold too much back, especially for the story mode, online I can understand some potential limitations for fairness.
Still can't understand how they mad...

They had at least 2 $10 expansions for multiplayer before Undead Nightmare came out. There was almost as much free content as paid content though which made the paid "expansions" feel a little light for the price you paid.
Same here, many of my friends barely play anymore or stopped playing altogether over the last year or so and they were very active players and groups, even the ones who got away with cheating their way to more money than they can spend.
Some are still optimistic about RDR2 but I am not and most are being very cautious and not preordering or not even considering until well after release to see how they handle things.
To be fair they released multiple free maps to BF4 after the season pass was all released. GTA5 has had lots of free dlc but much of it the past year or two required you to grind for insane amounts of time or spend real money to enjoy most of it while making almost everything released previously obsolete.
Just look at the comment below by "jack_daniel" who just made an account today and has only commented on this article.
Lol they could at least not be so lazy and put a little effort into not being such an obvious shill.
In the words of Greg Giraldo "...Well that's how cleavage works, it's not a smart bomb, it's not a laser guided weapon, you might hit your target, there's also going to be a lot of collateral damage, that's just the way it works..."
@Perjoss, to be clear about the new SWBF2, I am not considering buying it unless they lower the grind considerably and remove blatant competitive advantages from loot boxes. If they only contain cosmetics and/or small xp boosters I would not be bothered with them being buyable at all.
@Perjoss, I don't see the issues with cosmetics that can be earned for free but give the option to buy.
Could you provide any examples of current franchises that in the past had the same or more cosmetic items compared to their modern day versions?
COD WW2 for example has more free cosmetics in the base game than every WW2 based COD combined and the new COD WW2 has much more to come throughout the next year.

The Rock says EA can take their Star Wars Battlefront 2, shine it up real nice, turn that sumb!itch sideways and stick it straight up their roody poo candy a$$es!

"Of course smug pc elitist are going to call it a revolution and over compensate whenever any perceived critism come as toward their current exclusives, the game isn't on consoles in its current form ergo it's obviously too good for console"
dcbronco is very misinformed on many subjects but loves to spice it up with a pretentious unearned smugness and condescension to whoever he responds while providing no citations to back his claims... EVER.
Here is one of many diatribes involving dcbronco saying a lot of absurd things without backing them up.

I think they had everything finished, they worked on it for easily over 4 years. IMO it had more to do with being conceived as console gens were changing and games in general were evolving and also changing publishers a few times which they said didn't hinder development but they still delayed it at least a year or so beyond expected launch.
It had a manual save system from a gen before it released and overall just felt like a older style game that would have blew minds...
