Gears 3 isn't unbalanced and I'll tell you why. While yes you have the speed and shotgun from Gears 1 in Gears 3. You also have the sawed off Shotgun. Which stops the regular Shotgun.
So if you wanna show off your shotgun skills Gears 1 style. Watch out because the Sawed off will stop you dead in your tracks. The next and crucial thing that makes the game balanced for me is the ridiculous stopping power of both Lancers and especially the Hammerburst. It will drop any ...

It's a good game. It has a Tomb Raider feel and awesome water effects, but the graphics leave little to be desired and it can be glitchy at times. I hope they fixed that for this new version.
