Bahahahahahaha!!!!!!
I thought it couldn't get any worse. That was the most forced and hokey thing I've seen in a while. So dark! So edgy! A misunderstood lonely soul coming to grips with his new found power. This game is 13.
"Well if you don't like it, why come and comment on it and blah blah blah. Hater blah blah. Day one blah."
Your right. I'm sorry and I know it's immature. I honestly can't help it I gue...
The combat in the first video is just embarrassing. That was a mess. Even if the fighting in this reboot is sub par but competent, videos like this are not helping this game at all. Especially if the person watching is familiar with DMC's combat system. One that could arguably be called the best of all time and has now lost most of what made it special and one of a kind. The way directional inputs and lock on worked in synergy was sublime.
I was so hyped when they added o...
define win.
Sorry no one likes your game Tameem. You sound pretty butthurt yourself.
This game is poo.
They're also suspiciously similar to the Chakrams from Kingdom of Amalur. Inspiration is ok, but this just smacks of uninspired laziness.
Hmmmm, I think it's safe to say at this point that people are not responding favorably to this game.
@disagree: you hate fun.
This game was made for me. I can't wait. Deep combo system, cancels and parries and dodges that swat grenades away, feels more like Devil May Cry than DmC, Metal Gear style and tech, boss weapons for your secondary, ranged weapons, solid difficulty, great homages to Casshern and Friender, Ninja Turtle references, aggressive enemies and bosses, light stealth, upgrades by way of collecting enemies' hands, LOCK ON, clever humor, great feeling 1:1 sword control, destructible environments,...
???
It has nothing to do with sleeping at night. It's just true. That's almost the least relevant thing you could have said.
Reboots are fine when they treat the franchise with respect. Your comment doesn't apply here.
" I need D"M"C 5. "
-BREA after playing the demo.
I'll just leave this here.

Nothing about this reboot bothers me more than this decision. How is it that having the game attempt to decide your combat options for you is seen as acceptable for a game in the Devil May Cry series? It curbs your options and creativity so much, not to mention the frustration that comes from the seemingly frequent mistakes that it causes. This is the one thing over everything else that cripples this game and relegates it to imposter status for me. Why would any developer make this choice?
Holy cow! No way! I totally thought Billy was pulling my chain this whole time. Thank you for providing this information. I will hurry over to use the guide you provided right away! What could be easier? You, my friend, are a hero and not a spamming loser at all.
Demo is super fun. Don't listen to naysayers. There is a dodge (contrary to what some people have said.) There are two dodges actually, one offensive dodge where you swing the katana as you jump back which is handy for swatting grenades away.
There is a great parry system and even though the move set seems limited at first, there is already a ton of different cool stuff you can do that you wouldn't expect. Once blade mode clicks in your head it is novel and feels natu...
It's sad that so many people don't recognize sincerity and can't tell the difference between an honest opinion and an ad. This sounds like it was written by a bunch of old dudes in suits who did just enough market research to get them by. This game isn't entirely broken and maybe passable as a hack and slash. The truth is though that it's absolutely broken when taken as an attempt at a Devil May Cry Game. Not even close.
All these articles coming out lately are written like they think no one has been paying attention for the past year, or like we don't know what a DMC game feels like. This is a decent action game, not a Devil May Cry game. Flarn! I am just really disappointed. Loved this series.
Please for the love of God, can we just have a target lock? Everything else is bad enough, but a lack of lock on just means this game is fundamentally flawed from the get go. How can this be called DMC when a target lock is integral to the combat of past games and missing here?
They made two dodge buttons and no lock on. WTF?
Don't forget to brood. The brooding is very important. Remember, nobody gets you. What they don't know is that there is an invisible world of creepy crawly soda demons that only you can stop. Don't worry, you'll show them all. Show them all!!!! Muahaha!
Also don't forget your day one Donte travel mug for your trip in to the heart of a Hot Topic nightmare seething with Heironymus Bosch plagiarism zombies! It's Limbo-tastic!
