Doesn't it get old trolling every Destiny article you see on N4G? Give it a break already.
Hasn't it already been rumored to based in Boston/New England?
Quite the strong assumptions there. From the gameplay videos I've seen it looks to be impressive, and the ai looked pretty good as well. Another cool thing that is going to be in the game is the tablet/phone thing where if your friends are playing, and your not, you can log on the phone/tablet and help them,, you get a map and can co-ordinate strikes, that seems fresh and new to me.
Right, I came here to say that as well. An Android based system has never sold well, it's not gonna sell well. I just don't understand how something like this gets ok'd
@JeffGUNZ
You know when you bring logic to the table on N4G, you'll automatically get the disagree's. It's ok they don't hurt my feelings :)
But yea, kinda doesn't make sense on how people could have gotten "duped" with buying Destiny.
The game is not only on "next-gen" consoles, so you're wrong there. The quality is most definitely there, and as far as the content is concerned, there is still 3.2 million people playing everyday, and the game is supposed to have a 10 year life span, so you're going to get content on a regular basis for quite a while.
And as justjoined123 stated, there was two public beta events, nobody got con'ed into anything as far as purchasing the game is concerne...
So its safe to say you've never played a GTA before, they all have exorbitant amounts of violence. And the way it depicts woman? How about the way it depicts everyone, again it's GTA, Rockstar equally makes fun of everyone.
Plus how can you get a feeling for a game if you return it the next day?
Because it was told to them that they were getting the content, and that they pay for the service.
It's not just America where people are entitled and complain about such frivolous things as video games. Its a world problem from any non third world country really. People are just jaded in general, sad really.
Everyone knows it's not free.......but for what you pay for a year, its the best value in gaming. Tell me where else I can get a minimum of 24 games for my ps4, for the small sum of $50.
Sadly its just the cool thing to be angry at everything. I really dont get it. We are playing in the golden age of gaming, people are just too jaded.
For 50$ a year i get a minimum of 24 games (2 per month) for the ps4, so yea the games are practically free.
Have you ever played a multi-player game, or a game that has the scope of a 10 year period? Of course you're not going to get the full game from the start. You pay the money for the game, knowing that more will be coming in the future. Comon people, a little common sense would be great.
Well said, everyone sees secret areas, or content on the disk that isn't opened from the get go, they go and jump to conclusion that its automatically going to cost them money.
It's just the cool thing to harp on everything that devs/publishers do these days, so why not assume its gonna cost money and bash them prematurely.
People need to relax, Bungie stated that there will be plenty of free content updates, of which we've already seen, it'...
The cave is not a guarantee, I've farmed that cave for probably 5 hours, have yet to see a purple drop, just blues and greens. Where as if you do the kill quests, you are guaranteed a purple at the end of the mission, you don't have to grind out rep to aquire the purples. I think you're mis-understood.
You have 4 days of game played, 4 days! My buddy has 27hours played and a lot of it farming the loot cave, he's the same level as you. I'm sorry but as tedious and boring as it is, there is no other way thats faster.
Exactly, the last two days I've been getting booted as well. I was letting the cave fill up with engrams, but got booted with about 6 blues and 2 purples sitting on the ground, so like you as soon as I see a purple i go in and get it lol.
Whats the point of playing any game at all if that's the outlook your gonna have?
It's the most popular game out at the moment, of course most of the articles are going to be about Destiny.
How could they have "pulled the wool" over peoples eyes when there was not one, but two beta's? I mean if anyone played the beta they knew exactly what they were getting. And if you didn't play the beta, well the game was very popular, there was plenty of articles/videos about the second beta. There was no surprises with this game.
