I think this is an important topic. A lot of those are well known but some games do get better and no longer reflect the shit meta score that was given a year or two ago.
Multitude of things sure but you could survive any of them with solid game support. It's also the pacing of games. Sure the vita has backlog now that's it's dead. If it had a steady stream of games then it never would have died, that's the point. If you don't have a steady stream of support for your platform then you will get replaced. That's the consumer system we live in.

I think they have some good game writers. Witcher 3 is one of my favorite games this gen and to see what they can do with a sci fi setting has me hyped.

He's not a hater look at the list. There are a few exceptions like rocket league and overwatch but the majority of the awards went to "movie games" or cinematic narrative experiences. It's an objective fact. I liked Inside a lot but narrative lol? They do deserve an award for what they pulled off with such a small team. But it is all about presentation, they're not wrong.

I disagree. A gamer is someone that considers gaming a hobby. We all do things that we don't consider hobbies. I like going to the pool and beach but I'm not a "swimmer". Someone can play candy crush and not consider themselves a gamer.
