I would gladly be wrong on something like that, I'm a fan of most mythologies like you. I will definitely check out that Seed of Yggdrasil book. Who wrote that Norse dictionary? When you say historic do you mean the saga books are Viking era tales? I really like that the new God of war is pre-Viking. It's more in that myth realm of things.
Yeah I like the darkness of it. It makes sense that marvel took inspiration because they are more li...

Nice collection dude. I will have to check a few of those out. I didn't mean to sound like there isn't more to look into, I was just comparing it Greek mythology.
When I startes looking into Norse it was really hard to find something that wasn't the same thing retold like you mention. It seemed like it all came from the same spot unlike the Greeks which you can find a wealth of information on.
Check out a book called "Norse mythology" by Neil Gaiman. It's a really easy read and a nice summary of the beginning creation, the daily lives of the gods and the ending with ragnarok.
There isnt a whole lot of source material compared to Greek mythology. Almost everything derives from the Poetic Edda. The good news is that they have a ton of freedom to make their own lore using some great characters and personalities. The framework is there for something great but i wouldn't expect to learn anything new that you haven't already known.
They like to pretend they live in the 60s but they wouldn't have lasted a day back then lol. Cops would have turned antifa into hamburger meat.
I'd have to agree with the dude who said far cry3: blood dragon. Such an amazing dlc, I still can't believe it hasn't gotten its own full game yet.
The witcher had great DLC (free and paid), the nioh stuff has been good, Xcom has great dlc. I really like the "add in, not add on" approach of dlc.
It's gorgeous and I'm buying it on looks alone.
The PC market sure. If you wanted to be technical than mobile is leading the market. I'm obviously talking about closed platform consoles.
Same. I'm getting like 5 games next month, it's crazy. It starts next week with battlechasers so I'm not worried about these free games at all lol.
Agents of mayhem is a lot of fun, im enjoying it. By roots I'm hoping it's just no super powers. The first saints row that took itself seriously was just a generic gta clone, the humor is what makes them different. Missions like driving around in a sewage truck painting buildings with chud is what the real saints row is to me.
"South Park should absolutely be ashamed of themselves"
You're 20 years too late, pal. God I miss the 90s, these new wave babies are unbearable.
That's just not true though. I don't hate any game. I don't have seething anger towards the last of us. I just don't like cinematic games, it's a preference. I resent games that try to clone TLOU more than I do the TLOU. I know you're over-emotional because it's your favorite game. I understand you're just trying to defend your preference but there is no need to project your hatred of games on me.
The theme brah... that's why I was here. I came back to respond to you lol.
I don't even see people getting along with their own console base lol. I can't play an online game solo anymore without muting a dozen people. I admire your optimism but my realist nature can't agree.
No kidding, the launch is pretty terrible.
Pitting Xbox users against PlayStation users would kill the console wars how exactly?
The last thing they need to do is listen to people who don't know much about anything. They are leading the market, they need to keep doing what they do.
I like it. Looks like another switch game for me
I wonder what kind of interaction they are talking about if the world serpent is an ally. I really hope it stays an ally and it's not some kind of Loki deception thing, chances are it is though. Teaming up with loki's messed up kids seems like the perfect route to go but that's kind of the same way they went with the Greeks and teaming up with the titans. I just really hope the gameplay is as satisfying as the story is shaping up to be.
