You did early access because it’s cheap. Would have paid 60 dollars for ark like console players are? Be completely honest.
So glad I have a freaky game to play for Halloween. I tried the amnesia game but it’s not my style. I lasted about 10 mins with the motion blur.
Don’t do the crowdfunding thing but good luck. Aiming at the switch was a good idea, i’ll look into the final product. Watch your back I heard the PUBG devs act like they own the place.
You’re wrong. Your definition is basic semantics, not a regulation. Nobody would gamble on their dinner and the place would fail, that’s a dumb comparison.
It’s not like a slot machine at all. It’s possible (and likely) to not win anything on a slot machine. It’s betting on an uncertain outcome (win money or lose money). You will always win something in a loot box. You’re trying to tie in random loot with “uncertain outcome” and you’re wrong even on a basic semantic level.

You don’t know what you are talking about. Charging money for something doesn’t constitute gambling. That’s ignorant.
“They rely on the same feelings”. Oh it’s about feelings now, not facts. I forgot what society we lived in for a second. If I bought a loot box with real
money and there was nothing inside? I could see your point. That’s indeed gambling and unacceptable. Is it gambling to go buy a pack of yugi oh cards or whatever? No, that’s retarded. You will neve...
No, keep the government out of games. It’s not gambling, period.
500k is good for steam I guess? 500k at launch is outstanding probably, considering 95% of steam users wait until games are 99 cents.
People who compare loot boxes to gambling have never been to a casino lol. If I leave a casino with what I came in with I consider that a good day.
I preordered it a few weeks ago. It’s the first Mario game (not including rabbids) I have bought since Mario 64.
Games with random loot are not bad. No one has even brought this up until a few weeks ago. This whole discussion is fabricated bullshit, an excuse to trash something.
It’s unique flavor was british humor. Use a british studio and you’re good lol.
I would rather see this game succeed for the strides it’s making in dynamic narrative. So few studios are even attempting it because somebody actually has to build and write that shit. I would like games with dynamic systems to earn their sustained place on all platforms, not just PC.
The game is fine, I just don’t think people want to pay 60 for it. I bought it day one and don’t regret my purchase. The gameplay and a few of the characters are great it’s just repetitive. The open world missions are fun but kinda dull. It’s one of those games I turn on for a mission or two and the go to something else.
Overall I just think there are so many options out today and so many great games that it’s hard to compete in the 60 dollar range. If it came out as a 30 t...
You mentioned season passes which obviously aren’t dead. I skipped the online passes because it’s a dumb comparison honestly. Online passes wernt a MT. It was an attempt to battle the used games market. They were forcing you to buy new. Nobody benefitted from this, all it did was piss EVERYONE off.
Sure, MT piss you off but you’re not everyone. Plenty of people benefit from MT. Not you or me but plenty. That’s my point. If you want to take a stand on your opinion then that’...
I hope so too. No hard feelings, I have skipped plenty of games for one reason or another. If you were looking forward to this and changed your mind because of loot boxes then it’s unfortunate. That’s all I’m saying, I don’t see how it’s any different than Diablo or whatever lol.
They didn’t die off they restructured. Almost every game supports a standard, mid-tier and deluxe package. This has survived because people like the options.
I support the game. I don’t support microtransactions. I don’t buy into your “support by association” theory. Me buying the game has no impact on MT whatsoever.
I can respect you taking the pass for your principles, even if it’s for naught. I’m going to vote with my wallet in a sense by not buying any MTs. I’m going to get shit the old fashioned way lol
Sucks for those that would otherwise buy the game. I’m not that petty personally. I’m not a fan of MT but hat doesn’t matter unfortunately. The “vote with your wallet” shtick doesn’t work when massive amounts of people are purchasing the MTs . It’s not “anti consumer” when consumers have adopted the practice. If it wasn’t profitable they wouldn’t do it, it’s as simple as that.
Pathetic cancellation. I have zero respect for anyone that caves to these retards. The Supreme Court has already ruled on this, that congresswoman can kick sand.
I’m hyped. I’m buying day 1 but I’m gonna wait until later in the month to play.
