I disagree. The characters were much better in previous uncharteds. Elena, drake and sully. I didn't feel it was more personal, it was more sappy and whiny instead of light hearted. It didn't get good until drake was with Elena at the end. It was light hearted and had good exchanges. I have a feeling that was there before Druckman got involved. He's not light hearted, he's bleeding hearted.
You can make excuses for him if you want and blame the people bitching over that stupid shit but that's all him. He feels the same way they do, he openly admits this.
You like exploration over combat but I feel that was a huge mistake. You can definitely tell the difference between an uncharted fan and a TLOU fan by what they want out of naughty dog game. Druckman should have stuck with the last of us. He's terrible.

I love naughty dog but Druckman is a joke. I'm sorry, he's not good at all. I was wondering why the firefights were so far and few between. If you look at the "engagement chapter select" it is slim pickings. To find out that he fucked up the pacing and reduced the firefights because of "drake is a mass murderer" arguments is a travesty.
