I don't buy many platinum games but I like them as a studio. They are an indie studio but Nintendo or Microsoft will pay for an exclusive. They freelance to different pubs. That's such a good way to get new studios built like Kojima and such. Keep your options open in the 2nd party sphere.

The problem was that it was two of the most boring subboss fights in video game history. I've only played the betas but Overwatch was more fun in terms of gameplay. Battleborn had more value in terms of content and co-op features. Battleborn is going for like 35 bucks now, it doesn't take long.
I think Overwatch would have been better with more co-op or horde modes. Those are my favorite mp types. That would have been enough for me to buy it at launch. A "story mode" isn't really necessary imo but there are other ways to add online value. ...

Absolutely. I trash the "movieness" of games a lot so it's kinda hypocritical that it's my favorite exclusive so far. I'm a huge horror fan though and the slasher theme was done perfectly by these guys. I don't think they could have done any better at what they were trying to do. I guess not pretending to be something else and nailing their execution won me over.
