Well thankfully that's becoming a business model for a few Pubs/Devs.
Monolith/WB Games with SoM is getting another studio to do the porting for SoM.
Respawn/EA with Titanfall got another studio to do last gen porting for Titanfall.
MS is just building on that model by doing in house down porting.
It's FPS was above 30 pre patch as well yet people loved to jump on that train.
Two completely different stylized games.
It was my favorite game of last year. Undead Labs nailed it with State of Decay, and me being a fan of Jeff Strain and Zombies...It was destined to be.
Undead Labs next big game is Class 4 their zombie MMO.
They've got some people working on extra content for Survival Year One Edition and a small team working on Moonrise.

MOST Executive Producers just manage money around, because that's there job but Scott Free Television is a small company with everyone on deck.
But quite a few Executive Producers do MOST if not all the work in TV shows, people like Kurt Sutter for The Shield/Sons of Anarchy.

I don't expect MS to rush into VR, when they do introduce their VR I see it opening with games like Superhot and Minecraft as VR exclusives.
I'm glad we won't be seeing VR on X1 for a while, focusing on building more studios and refocusing efforts away from Kinect. (Obviously there are a hand full of first party studios who will still build Kinect games)

You don't want to take my word for it that's alright. You want to blindly follow DF that's okay also.
But Ryse did run pretty smooth on X1. 20-30 FPS wasn't a problem for the game. It's pace didn't require 60 FPS.

Got it from a gaming store near me, they usually release copies when they get them, even though they SOMETIMES get them on the day of launch.

Monolith/WB Games have an exclusive advertising partnership with Sony. Part of that exclusive agreement is exclusive reviews for that one platform. There are also no PC review copies on the market yet the "Journalist" completely ignores that.
The gap is a rough 25% difference, when you break down the numbers it's about 25...
Haven't beaten it yet but have to say it's an amazing game...I'd give it a solid 9/10.

It's a very smooth experience. I've been playing on X1 and no Stutters or noticeable frame rate drops.

Yes I've been playing the game. There are two zones with separate armies.
You can fast travel between zones but you unlock the second at a certain point in the story.
1. Sequels? Obviously...Building on the original is amazing but sequels do allow for building a different experience from the ground up.
2. Licensing? Indeed this game IS THE NEW LEGO after all.
3.DLC is a given, it's been getting tons of content updates already.
5. Leave it alone? I don't think MS will really push Mojang around, but I do see them using the IP for more purposes then it's current use.
Ghosts added the ability to play as a Female Soldier in MP and the games had Female soldiers in campaign.
FIFA lacking female players? I think that it'd be a waste of resources to add female leagues since you wouldn't have a large enough fanbase playing them to justify it.

Destiny being cross platform with Bungie working on all platforms meant that it wasn't going to be ground breaking.
Games like AC: Unity/The Division/Evolve/Arkham Knight will bring us into this gen, not being limited by last gen consoles.

Besides the 360 version doesn't launch with the game...Titanfall on 360 didn't steal from sales of X1.

Halo hitting PC? LOL not happening ever. Demand is weak as hell and they need to sell Xbox Ones.
How many Halos have had PC ports with Xbox ports since MS got the IP? None...Spartan Assault hit Windows Tablet/Phone first.
Quantum Break? MS owns the IP, so another fad chance.
But you can keep hoping...or step into reality get an X1 and enjoy a bunch of Halo games over the course of this generation.

I'm a fan of the Souls games, but it's morons like this guy that give the fanbase a really bad name.
Yes LOTS of Souls fans are total morons, it's becoming more and more apparent as they're totally oblivious to other games but will praise a game with NUMEROUS faults and call it a "10/10" experience.
