Halo is a multi billion dollar franchise (Over $4 Billion in revenue)
If it's collection can sell a lot of hardware and software then they may be able to justify a Gears collection.
But at the moment, there are over 150 employees and they're all focused on Gears X1. Much like MOST of 343i is working on Halo 5 guardians and had to contract to get MCC done.
First of all Ryse isn't hitting PS so what do you mean "Like Ryse".
Second of all how is this NOT designated towards the Xbox audience... It's more Xbox then Playstation.

Mike Colter is a great way to bridge and continue Halo live action story telling.
I just can't wait for the TV series, and it's comforting to know Kiki Wolfkill is overseeing all future Halo Live action projects.

I think it's just hyping up a big vidoc for the Halo MCC.
Look at Halo being the lifeblood of Xbox.
It doesn't just sell well on Xbox.
It sells hardware
It sells Xbox live gold memberships
They'd be giving up a lot of profits just for a few million unit sales.
The demand for Halo on PC isn't strong...The MCC petitions are weak as hell and take 0 effort to fill out.
Gears isn't cross gen.... Black Tusk is just recruiting people with experience on 360/PS3....You know "CONSOLE EXPERIENCE".
