Mad Max was originally slated for a 2014 release and pushed back to 2015 so 2015 is likely... Just Cause 3 will be pushed back as well though.
Bare in mind the Mad Max film hits in 2015 so you'd want to hit the game around the time of the movie when the fanbase is hyped.
They obviously don't see it as an important market to invest as much money as they threw at it with the 360.
BUT Phil has said they needed to launch the X1 in Japan to get devs on board. So from the looks of things it's more for acquiring certain JRPGs for their worldwide lineup rather than to gain a following in Japan.
I feel Phils plan is to use the Worldwide popularity of some of the Japanese games/genres to boost up it's worldwide Hardware/Sof...
Most people will it takes inspirations from some strong PvP Shooters like Crysis 2 to deliver a very blended but smooth experience.
Using all the new Spartan Abilities is tricky but not too hard to use for a quick kill here of there, but really hard to master for total domination.
Here's hoping WB Games gives them a massive budget and they have two teams pushing with this.
One focused on making Middle Earth a AAA GOTY franchise
And another focused on bringing some DC character to life.
WB Games needs more then just Rocksteady/WB Montreal/Netherrealms working on DC games and Monoliths Nemesis system is the perfect thing for a Super hero game where you fight villains.
Or even an Anti hero game with a characte...
You aren't already happy?
Edit:
@SlapHappyJesus
We don't really need Reach to be brought to X1. It could happen but I think Halo 1-4 and now ODST is enough. Unless they revisit the Reach story in another game for new players.
Rookie is still alive so they could easily run with this by making a ODST 2.
Bare in mind Bonnie admitted there were NO PLANS to do an ODST X1 version but it's a great way to compensate the people wh...
That's like saying you got bored of Quake Arena...
Kind of hard to get bored of a game that keeps you on your toes.
Was the campaign broken? No
It was the MP Matchmaking as a result of the game having 5 engines running via the Matchmaking for the servers.
Does that sound easy to you? Name one collection that has taken that undertaking....
Orange Box? No... It only had TF2 for MP.
Dude I couldn't be more pumped for this game.
Thank god 343i has such an amazing art team. Halo is just a beauty.
The MP team will have a lot of work to convince people these changes are for the better, but I'm confident that it'll gain a lot of traction post Beta.
I wish I got a beta invite to say a Ogre fart killed me!
Never thought I'd say that...
Illumiroom was confirmed to be too expensive for consumers... That's why they've put it on the back burner for now.
AR is what I wanted as well but after the high costs of Illumiroom and not being affordable in homes... I have a feeling AR is being pushed back.
That was 5 engines being ran through one set of servers. With no beta before it because they were trying to get it ready for the anniversary.
Did Titanfall have any problems? It used the same servers.
Only problems Titanfall had were at launch and that was solved by Day 2.
So trust me... the Halo 5 Guardians beta will be fine.
I don't think you know anything about Special Forces/Swat because they don't go running around... They're tactical and patient which is why the pace fits the game.
Halo should not be afraid to set itself apart?
It's setting itself apart from previous Halos because it needed to be changed...343i knew that Halo needed to be faster it needed to have an MLG focus. The casual fans like you may not like that but it needed that.
You've got a pic of Gears of War...
How could you not be a fan of Halo going into a more fast paced feel.
The games about Super Soldiers in armor... What kind of super soldier can't sprint?
Don't worry Quick... You're not the only one... Fable Legends is going to be good, people just don't have high hopes for it since Lionhead is taking risks with it.
Microsoft owns Quantum Break IP... Don't hold your breath on it hitting PC.
Alan Wake hitting PC was always planned by Remedy and they owned the IP.
Do you people not do any research?
Going from Unity to Unreal is a big deal for a zombie MMO but it still has a ways to go to get the game fully ported over.
I don't think you know what you're talking about... The SDK has had a lot of updates but it's not what DX12 will be benefiting from.
The API will be utilizing multi core hyperthreading which isn't the problem with the SDK.
The problem is the eSRAM utilization and optimization as well as the CPU constraints.
DX12 eliminates one of those problems.
I said "SIGNIFICANT GAINS"... I don't think you kno...
Honestly it'll take time for it to have any significant gains on X1.
But it'll be good for First/Second party studios like 343i who got amazing teams that can utilize the most out of the console.
No if you READ anything before jumping to the list you'd know there's no order for the list.
