Course I doubt Fable Legends will get a 2014 release...they said they'll have the beta up and running by late 2014 but I don't think that Lionhead will have the game released by November.
I'm a huge fan of Remedy and am hoping they stick to putting a lot of their time until the game is ready for launch. They don't rush or throw unfinished products at us...So I'll say Feb-May 2015 release.

Can you imagine playing a game with several factions to choose from...UNSC/Covenant/Third faction of your choice.
You start off as a UNSC soldier and can work your way to become a Spartan with abilities and what not that improve. The game would demand a more diverse weapon system like Borderlands/Destiny but it COULD work. Or you play as a Elite rising through the ranks ...

After being a HUGE fan of Falling Skies/Terra Nova...I can't wait to see what Stephen Spielberg does with the Halo series. Joseph Staten is a very talented writer and I can tell the story will be killer.
Compared to Ryse? Shadow Fall isn't the best looking game. Cryengine 4th Gen can't be beat...Currently only 3 games are using it...Star Citizen, Ryse: Son of Rome, Homefront 2.
When it comes to eye candy only a few devs can beat Crytek...Remedy/Quantic Dreams are the two console devs.
They're going back to the roots because the fanbase is asking them. The Fable fanbase didn't like the direction they were taking Fable with 2 & 3. We all agree that Fable The Lost Chapters was one of the most innovative ones and they should've built on that universe rather than keep taking giant leaps into the industrial age.

But they're too small of a dev team to focus on that many ports. They either have two choices now. Devote their time to further expanding on the PvZ experience which is what EA will want...or focus on porting which doesn't keep the PC/Xbox users with content that will last.

Well Alan Wake has sold over 2 million units and when they sold Max Payne IP for $45 Million they funded Alan Wake and Quantum Break. There is talks about a possible Microsoft buy out of Remedy, that would be killer if Microsoft bought them and funded MORE games...Quantum Break / Alan Wake Trilogy side by side...

I wouldn't call it an Uncharted Rival...Because we all know Remedy is way better at story telling and releasing the product they advertised. Alan Wake was nothing short of a brilliant game. And still holds the title for my favorite game on PS3/360.
Looking forward to seeing an Alan Wake sequel, but until then I'll be waiting for Quantum Break.
A game filled with AI soldiers and AI Titans and people are surprised it's only 6v6. Was I the only one watching the gameplay videos? Did you see the size of those maps. They were sections of cities that were war torn.

I agree with the points being made and yeah the Subscription model works and after revealing the budget of the game they'll be doing the subscription model for a while.
