They all are cross pc play (mostly Sony, till Win 10). But they were not cross console and judging by their statement,still not.
With me knowing how carefully worded pr statements are. Them leaving out other consoles manufacturers tells me all I need to know.

I love that people on this site proclaim that Sony is doing this. As if allowing cross-platform play was being held back because of Microsoft's policies.
This is much different than allowing a couple of games to be played between ps and pc (which ms does/did also).
It's MS telling the gaming world they want to lead in allowing Any game,indie or AAA,to be played cross-platform/console. Not in the same league.
