It's quite sad that we are 20th in the world for broadband speeds.

They won't be the future for at least the next 20 years. For portables, digital distribution is the next logical step as the games are small. Conversely, the games on a next-generation device can run anywhere from 4GB to 50GB.

From a business standpoint, do you want to spend money on a huge amount of bandwidth? A huge infrastructure that spans across the country to support the platform?

Both games are garbage - which one is more garbage is personal preference.

I'll take Counter-Strike, Battlefield, Killzone, and Unreal over these two games any day.

Ultimately, I believe trophies and achievements should have a little digital incentive. If you receive a platinum trophy, how about a free theme or a free avatar that shows off your accomplishment?

I agree to an extent. In games like LBP, many people such as myself cannot create a level that will be hearted by 50 or more people so people have to abuse the system.

However, games such as Battlefield and Burnout Paradise SHOULD be natural experiences where trophies come along as you play the game.

In short, you should play the game, the game shouldn't play you.

Meh, I played RDR to death (platinum trophy the other day), but I don't see this taking off especially for $10. They should expand the single player game (the northwest corner and southeast corner of the map are completely empty).

Bring back open zone. It's like comparing apples and oranges - they are both fruits (FPS), but different kinds of taste. I do however find the taste of oranges (Halo series) to tangy and sour, and apples (Killzone series) delicious.
