There really is no reason to reply to you because of your immaturity & insults but I will go ahead and say this just to shut you up. The PS2's failure rate was still well within industry standards so even when you do the math it was still WAAAAAY lower than what the absolutely abysmal/appalling failure rates 360 have had.
2-3% of 140 Million is 2.8-4.2 Million ~ PS2
33+% of 40 Million is 13.2 Million+ ~ 360
Hell if you even say the PS...
Technically all 3 are the same type of intro and are reminiscent of every previous version that came before it.
But there is one fact in this situation that cannot be overlooked and has to be factored in ~ since 360's are MUCH more prone to "issues" (banning's/failures) there is a MUCH higher percentage that would cause a repurchase and in effect (or culmination) padding it's TRUE installed base. Yes, there is no way to say what the exact number is (as I said) BUT it would be down right idiotic to believe that the installed base is as high as MS claims it to be and that there are ...
But you say nothing about re-purchases from TOTALLY broken 360's OR from banning's. Disagree, Spin & Argue all you want, it wont change the fact there ARE re-purchases out there for messed up 360's. We will never know an exact amount (it could EASILY be in the hundreds of thousands if not millions because of banning's ALONE) but to believe every sold 360 is a working 360 OR every broken 360 has been fixed and put back into the same customers hands is extremely immature, cl...
If I remember correctly there was some law in Europe that was brought against Microsoft for Disc Scratching that a TV show made for consumer affairs or something to that effect had described in detail...I have to go through some of my links to find it if anyone knows what I am talking about please post it. Either way the 360 being a "MODERN" piece of equipment should not do this in this day and age, especially when your direct competitors product does not scratch discs ~ 5699d ago 27 agree4 disagreeView comment
So by the same token if she likes Kinect it would be safe to infer that she would also like PS Eyetoy games from PS2 and even PS Eye games for the PS3. Because Kinect has not shown 1 game type/style that cannot be OR hasn't been done on either.
@ ALFAxD_CENTAURO ~ And as that number continues to grow the sales will show devs who they may eventually want to stick with/support more because their hard work is protected and not in jeopardy.
Exactly Fig! +Well Said & +Agree. The fact remains (to me in my eyes) that when we get games that are ~
1) As detailed as GT5P with amazing physics to match
2) Have the shear scale & graphic fidelity of God of War 3
3) As intricately story based written like MGS4
4) Have as many on screen characters & facial expression accuracy as Heavenly Sword
4) Have as many players on a map as MAG
5) Have the whole package of Uncharted 2...
That would make my head explode for anything but Flying Games! I just can't wrap my brain around doing so in an FPS since as I described if you are say on a web page and want to "point" at something on the upper right hand portion of the screen you would move the cursor in the same direction not in reverse for up/down.
I could understand how/why those who use inverted Y may do so (as it works for them in a game) but when I look at it by a User on a Web Page stan...
Said this the other day but will post it here ~
Sorry but Up is Up and Down is Down for everything but Flying Games for me personally. I look at it this way ~ if you use a controller or mouse to move a cursor on a screen towards something in the upper right hand corner you move/push/aim the controller stick OR mouse to the upper right hand corner. Imagine how annoying and difficult it is or would be using a mouse with the Y axis inverted!
Now I am not tryin...
Qore for me is not a rip-off since I was a day 1 subscriber. Just as the second year ended, PS+ came out, so instead of me re-upping Qore I subbed to PS+ day one as well. Didn't lose out on anything and worked out perfectly. Got more than enough games, freebies, betas, demos etc. from Qore and now even more via PS+.
One thing I just noticed too (but need someone else's confirmation) is that if you sub to PS+ you obviously also get Qore, BUT you also get the free High ...
@ Pope_John_Paul_II ~ "the fact they can port wii games to the PS3 (see Dead Space extraction) means more money depending on the quality of the game as well."
Don't forget they can port games from Kinect as well since there basically has not been 1 game shown that the PS Eye can't theoretically do...even if it can't do a Kinect game "exactly" it would just be a matter of implementing an alternative way to force the action per se.
So the week before last it had 2,060 total sales then had 1 week of "high" sales when the 360S releases to then drop down to 2x the usual sales the next. Not impressive at all, and makes me believe that the majority of the 360's (minor) bump in sales were probably by US military people stationed in Japan. Either way when the PS3 gets price drops or has a revised design the sales are WAAAAY more significant and stable over ALL the world.
This has to be the stupidest thing if anyone thinks/believes/expects Kinect will be able to work properly with a Street Fighter type game. Nope. Sorry. Ain't gonna happen. Kinect cannot provide the level of control/accuracy that is necessary for the finite actions & quick/immediate reaction times required for a fighter...No Thanx I'll stick with my stick ~

Wanna real bet? I'd be willing to put my 360 up against your PS3 that GT5 will sell more than the PS3 version of COD Black Ops. BUT we would need clearer agreeable terms as to dates etc.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare PS3 ~ 5.28 Million
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PS3 ~ 8.13 Million
vs
GT ~ 10.85 Million
GT2 ~ 9.37 Million
GT3 ~ 14.89 Million
GT4 ~ 10.54 Million
GT5P ~ 4.84 Million <---Which DOE...

@ ReBurn ~ Personally I would rather a Move Controller over a GunCon because at least you will be able to use the Move with more titles because of its flexibility/diversity of use & implementation. Whereas a GunCon would only be used with a Time Crisis type game...which would be a waste of money to me.
Actually Commodore is partly* correct but with an asterisk to be explained...Killzone 2 definitely had input lag. But that has since been addressed. The "feeling" of weight was NOT lag, they were 2 separate things that people confused. The best way to prove this is how after they fixed the MINOR input delay issue the game STILL had weight to it's "feel" ~ thus 2 separate things. Either way this is just Commodore's usual trolling & trying to pass off misinformat...
Actually it starts today ~ http://blog.us.playstation....
I need confirmation of this by anyone who has PS+ (3 month / year sub) but was NOT an original subscriber to Qore AND who does not have the game in question ~
Can you download the free PSN game (High Velocity Bowling) AND/OR any of the free content that comes with it, that is offered via Qore?
If so, then that confirms you get an EXTRA free game with the subscription to PS+ which just adds to it's "deal".
