Remember Famitsu only included about 3 days of sales in these numbers, since LBP was released on 10/31 - 11/2. So the next full week of being released should support your numbers (or close to it), that's not a definitive but the trend looks to support a higher # ;).

NP Dweg, but from my understanding the PS3 is still ahead in US YTD sales (by only about 200,000 but still ahead). If it has changed please link some sources/information to correct me & others. Thanx.

PS3 sold 181,000 in Aug.
PS3 sold 250,000 in Sep.
vs
360 sold 128,000 in Aug.
360 sold 222,000 in Sep.
And from my understanding the 360 for the months of September, October & 1 week of November only sold around 30,000 more consoles than the PS3! Which if you just use the number...

While there is the fanboy element POSTING (for both sides) on N4G the reviews themselves are a separate item and poll from more sites to give more information one way or the other.
beavis you missed the point though. Metacritic picks and chooses reviews whereas the links above from N4G shows a broader range and a truer sense of "reviews"...and something certain "posters" here will not admit or agree. Yet they post on N4G, ain't that hypocrisy?

But the funny thing is (which confirms your Kotaku bias comment) even with this being an RROD article how does Kotaku explain the use of their headline? I left the title as it is from Kotaku but there is no truth behind the 360 ever having a lead over the PS3 in Japan...

That just proves the Gears photo is re-touched and upscaled to a resolution the 360 cannot display! i.e. nothing but a fake a$$ BULLSHOT
Looks like you actually helped out his point because the R2 is @ a lower resolution (one the PS3 can do easily ;) and still looks better.
