Sony Smart Tv user HUB design comes to mind anyone?....
Sad that not once, have anyone mentioned that Sony could have been following the design of there Smart Tv gui's, but went straight to saying it looks like or copied something from their competitors.
Tsk, tsk, tsk, time to get outside of that box folks.
Not even close... Seeing that Windows and Xbox are both owned by MS...
It would make sense to have MS exclusive titles exclusive to MS hardware...
To add onto the "retro", the developers added a pixel grid that resembles the pixel density (if thats the right way of putting it) of the GameBoy or mid 90's handheld gaming LCD screen, and it looks REALLY"retro" :)...
@Divine
I enjoyed the demo, I'd recommend playing the demo to see what its like
i5-2500
Gtx 560
16gb ram
More powerful than a PS3?, yes..
But would it be as powerful as it is, if I only spent $250 on it?, heck no...
Unless, I only wanted Ram, and a GPU... Then I wouldnt have a case, or a motherboard to put those in or a psu and cpu to power it...
More powerful yes ,but not at $250 bucks it ain't...
I'm stunned by the draw distance, based off of that single shot for this article.... It's like, WOW!!! Day one for me, or a midnight release :)
Me too, and what's up with these phantom disagrees?
Is it really a problem to like a Vita title as well?
Wish there was a feature where disagree-ers (even agree-ers) had to leave a statement as to why they disagree or agree inorder for it to be shown as how many people either agree or disagree...
I think half of the "Lower resolution" look is due to it being filmed off of an oled screen.
Whats up with the disagrees? I didn't even bash the game, heck I'm getting it for both vita and ps3... Or is it, that you disagreers believe that the characters are all brand spankin new to the Playstation brand, really what gives?...
More than 95% of the roster is made with already known characters from old(er) games... What "games" are they advertising?
True, and what i fail to add is that I didnt agree nor, disagree with tele.mantis, and that sometimes control schemes should be more user friendly and should fall under a common sense thought process of button layouts... Well in regards, of what you said
Hey the button layout is up to the game developers themselves, not the publisher well in this case Sony... So yeah....
That would be awesome on the behalves of vita and orbis but sad for ps3
@JQ
You forgot Need for Speed Most Wanted
But having "full power" doesnt necessarily mean its going to be used in the right way, depending on how the creator(s) use the vita.
Would you like having someone using all the power available on the vita, to play a simple game of tic-tac-toe or to run a calculator app?...
Power is, and will always be a means and never an ends...
Or in other words, power is useless if its not being used, or going to be used properly...
Or spend $99 to get the Playstation Mobile SDK...
That would benefit, them (hackers), Sony, and the people willing to buy the games/apps said, would/will hopefully make...
A perfect beneficial trianlge...
Lower left: Hackers buy SDK make games/apps
Top: People/customers/consumers
Lower right: Sony making a Profit, and split with Hackers or whoever bought the SDK
Well thats depending on user r...
Thats because their probably too afraid to think out side of the box, or something... Because, if a launch title like Uncharted, and an open world game like Gravity Rush look as excellent as they did as early titles then there shouldnt be any reason why Nihilistic couldnt pull this game off.
Heck LBP:vita looks and plays just the same as the PS3 versions, even with
the moderate load times.
Or theres something missing, like maybe their working on it al...
I didn't get into the beta, but can you tell me whats the player count?
I'm currently thinking its the same as MAG's player count, and thanks in advance.
And Need for Speed:Most Wanted :)
Sorry "rpd123", you should take a look at the Sony Smart Tv's user hub and take a good guess on why this new PlayStation store design looks SO much similar to their SONY Smart Tv lines GUI...
Just a thought, really...
