Why was it obnoxious that Uncharted 2 won?
Commercially, perhaps, but quality? How could they know even before the titles are out?
I stand by what I said. I do not feel the need to bug or be bugged by someone who's playing an entirely different game. If I'm playing MAG, I don't want to be talking to someone who is playing LittleBigPlanet at the time.
It certainly is more courteous to send a text message that can be answered at one's leisure.
What part of that don't u get?
Well owned, sackgirl!
Arguably, MH3 could have been a bit too hardcore for some of the Wii crowd.
You seem to have forgotten about Playstation Move.
Most won't be?
If some could be, then there is no *technical* reason why the rest can't be. Rather, it depends on consumer 3D adoption, the developers' willingness, and the suitability of game genres. The hardware, especially the PS3, is already capable.
If you are concerned about graphical concessions that must be made to enable 3D, then that is true no matter how powerful the hardware is (even a million generations from now). To render in 3D, t...
IMHO the lost planet engine is quite well suited to a game like MH3 with large scale bosses. I think they're just waiting to release it at some stage.
The MMO type fees do suck though.
Indeed, naughty dog moved on and did very well. As for NT...
There is nothing that precludes current generation consoles from doing 1080p, (talking about Wipeout and GT5).
Similarly, nothing precludes current consoles from doing 3D. What is one developer's "struggle" is another's plaything.
We can all do better than resign to a 3D-less generation, and it doesn't have to be that hard. Some are already doing 3D for us. Just sit back and enjoy, seriously.
Challenging, perhaps, but should never be attempted?
I think Guerilla should be given a ton of credit for pushing the boundaries of perception.
Perhaps more of a promotion for the girls rather than Kinect.
Thanks for keeping it honest, IRetrouk.
The one-day PSN clock changeover fiasco or the 360 network downtimes over holiday seasons? Guess Sessler already picked the Microsoft pill a long time ago.
Playing K3 in 3D is optional, and some people will trade absolute graphical fidelity for depth perception (which to me, is an entirely new and welcome experience).
This article is but one opinion, and one that i'll respectfully disagree with.
Not that you ever owned one in the first place.
I don't feel a need to talk to friends playing on different games.
I'd find it bothersome if someone (perhaps like Shepherd) tries to annoy me while I'm playing.
Keep that out, please.
The trajectory predicts that Sony will soon overtake Microsoft, so your bold statement is likely to be wrong in the near future.
What money it lost in the previous years was for research investments, market positioning and product expansion (both hardware and software), and I'd take that over what microsoft has lost for its hardware incompetence. While Sony gained knowledge with its "loss", Microsoft gained only infamy.
Most importantly, Sony got to this position despite the many barriers deliberately put in its tracks by the media who have been largely sympathetic towards Microsoft (or rather, its money).
How else would you do "restructuring", the purpose of which is to improve the efficiency of the company?
Was there any evidence that Sony was going to clear out "the more artistic developers"? If anything, it appears to be on the contrary, especially when it is compared to its main competitor.
