Lost in translation, perhaps. The original text could quite easily have meant that Sony wanted to assess the situation in its entirety so that it could give its customers accurate information.
It took time, and could have been done prematurely and suboptimally, which would only "bewilder" the recipients of such information.
@ShadyDevil,
Perhaps, with the link from reaver, you could fix your article to the effect that "both points" are actually represented. In its current state, it is as one sided as biased crap goes.
@logicwins
Not the majority perhaps, but those "four engineers" were enough to change Valve's direction.
It's a kind of important logic to leave out, isn't it?
It is a sad day in history when a supposed gamers' site has to question whether an entire section of gaming community would miss their online network. You are a true piece of work, gamersheep.
I agree mastiffchild - bad behaviour must not be rewarded. If we all follow this principle, there will be a swift change of tune.
Is this a joke?
For the record, when I paid for a PS3, I did not pay for Linux. Those people are way over themselves if they think they represent me and most other PS3 gamers.
Your agenda has always been to attack anything Sony related, and doing it under the pretence of advocacy is truly disingenuous and lowlife-like.
"When it came time to choose an overall winner, Car and Driver gave the edge to GT5 for its all-encompassing depth, calling it 'peerlessly comprehensive...'".
So, are you still going to agree with the pro? Because I already have.
Thanks for clearing it up. Sometimes truth can be buried by sensationalism - it is a pity that people don't take the time to uncover it, whatever their agenda might be.
Funny posts :)
Shouldn't the title be adjusted a little, in light of the "update"?
A deliberately obfuscated message with some epic backpedalling.
"hackers" at risk of being hacked themselves? Don't see a problem with that. it was obvious that some are trying to drum up more controversy about sony's handling of the situation, but instead inadvertantly revealed a very good reason for not using "customized" tools - your own security ...
is this a blog post that happens to be hosted on cvg, or this this piece of crap really a main feature article by one of the permanent staff members?
Playing the demo, i would say that they have kept much of the weight from the previous iteration. Switch back and forth between COD and KZ3 demo, and tell me they're the same - i'll tell you who the liar is.
Sarcasm meter needs a bit of a tweak :P
you mean hiss like this?
"The only thing that is a waste of space here is this review"
oh, oops, that was you a couple of months ago. The very definition of a hypocrit.
An interesting observation.
And sell it did.
Just curious, what made this review "honest and genuine", other than the fact that it gave a score YOU so desperately wanted GT5 to receive?
Have you played GT5 enough to form an *honest* opinion about the game, one that would afford you the claim that this is an "honest" review? I guess not.
Much like the fact that you are here, el zorro?
"I'm only here to point out the hypocrisy of people like you..."
Is this a forza thread? LOL. The only hypocrit is you.
Great news! Always wanted to experience a 24hr le mans race without sacrificing my sanity. Looking forward to it!
