L4D1 -- demo opened up to the public 1 week before release.
They are giving it two weeks this time so it doesn't clash with MW2.
Regardless, I can wait; 1 week is nothing. It'll probably be 2 short maps thrown together like for the first one.
Nearly 1 year later, Valve still hasn't released their promised L4D content. lol, at least now we have a date.
It'll be great if the demo will be accessible by not pre-ordering.

Anyway, the game is banned over here in Australia; so hopefully they will find a solution soon or MW2 will just have to keep me happy.

As for me, I have a PS3 and a PC and I enjoy Valve games on the PC where they are meant to be played.

And if you learn to read what I wrote, I said Valve can charge what they want, but I don't think its worth the full $50 -- maybe something like an expansion pack price $25 would be the sweet spot, because just as the many previews have written about it so far, it looks and plays very much like the original. Either that, or give a discount to your fans who have the original L4D.

Valve can charge all they want, for L4D2, but I don't think its worth a full $50 -- they are spilling it out like a yearly franchise (like a madden game), and don't be surprise when L4D3 hits out next year.

I became not interested in this game after they decided to scrap the PC version and make it an x-box exclusive.
