I worked for HP laptop tech support from 2009 til 2011. There were overheating issues with faulty Nvidia chipsets with laptops and other products manufactured between 2005 til 2010. The next Nvidia chipset that would be used in next gen consoles would be that of laptop design. Small and integrated to the mainboard.

See, I never heard rumors of the PS4 having only 4gb of gddr5. I did hear it was having 8 gb of system ram and 2.2gb vid ram back in january.

It probably still uses a linux environment though it is not needed too often. PS3 used a default linux environment for development.

They could so totally add in different game mechanics for each of those scenarios but keep it open world with different story lines and make each one it's very own IP with different titles. Ubisoft has effectively created it's very own genre and they could branch out with and not be called out on copying since they were the first to do that kind of play style. Kind of like Watchdogs, its a modern/futuristic version of AC. Just sayin'.

That said, I think the only and biggest disappointment from sony is not being able to keep up with demand at launch. I would be ok with this do as long as I was in line and I was still guaranteed a console soon after launched.
It all boils down to 1 basic instinct, survival. Nobody can truly and honestly give how they would react when they trigger the "fight or flight" response. Proper training or not, you would be amazed at what you can do when your life depends on it.

It seems like the developers can't come up with original ideas at all as long as the sequels keep selling. New IPs are a financial risk so backers will not dump money into new IPs.

Norse mythology would be awesome but I think they should do a new protagonist. Someone more heir to the viking battle set and mythos. Kratos was great for Greek mythos but the torch needs to be passed on.
