You get 10 large maps (well 9 + 1 medium map).
60$
5 hour campaign = 10$
Each map = 5$ X 10
Premium 50$
Each map = 5$ X 20 maps (assuming each pack has 4 maps) = 100$
I do hate when the release DLC early as well, but besides Socom 2 and combined assualt, I can't remember the last game to release 10 large maps at launch except maybe counter strike (which the maps were small).
Peak was good if the whole map was open like Rush. I didn't like it on console because of the chokepoints i.e:
Sit in a server walkway and snipe down the hall. If you went through the wide tunnels, you were likely to get dominated by a tank or 2.
@darth
Same here. But it depends on the genre of the game.
Example
Racing: graphics and content > gameplay
Platform - No sense in playing a beautiful game that you can't control right.
FPS- All about immersion and gameplay/repetition.
Fighting game - Gameplay all day with controls.
RPG - Content and story over graphics.
When you look at it, this i...
Same here. No reason to add features only take some existing features away
A 512 mb ram console and a portale gaming device play custom sound tracks and mp3's but a 8gig GDDR5 RAM powered console with a 2-3 GIG OF RAM OS can't play mp3's is BS.
What worse is that the only way to play your music in the back ground is through a PAID subscription service.
Still swaying towarding canceling pre-order...and then getting a ps4 later down the line. I don't use DLNA (i tried a few times) but that BS too if the ps3 can suppor...
I have about 5k songs on my PS3, mainly for soundtracks for racing games, the fight, and WWE games. If the option was in a game, I used it.
Hell GTa5, would of been alot better on the PS3 if I could load up my own music while gangbangin'
That's roughly 2.5-3 gigs in my 740g hard drive, which is a drop in the bucket. But the fact that if you want to listen to music you prefer you have to get a PAID music subscription is BS.
But Klank...
NO BUT YOU CAN UPLOAD VIDEOS ON TWITCH!
Hmm what feature will I use most? Listening to my own music or uploading Video's?
In order for you to listen to music that YOU want while playing your game, you have to subscribe to a music SUBSCRIPTION service.
Nevermind the fact that SONY themselves have sold GAME SOUNDTRACKS on the PS store.
So I can upload a video, but I can't listen to my own music? Stop defending them.
I am thinking about canceling my pre-order because of this.
How can you push an online music subscription but won't have the ability of playing local files such as a mp3's. That's greedy as all hell and that nearly approaches a MS level.
Look at my comment history, I am pro-Sony but that is a feature that should be there day 1. ESPECIALLY if the PS3 had it!
I can buy a Mp3 player for 15$ USD, but my gaming console which is 385$...
Yes but you can't put your own mp3s on the PS4?
People should tweet @yosp and let him that's BS
Yea, complete BS.
Alot of disappointments.
1-No Group option like XBL where me and a friend and jump into a session together from the get-to
and what really pisses me off and is complete $%@$%@#%@#%@#%@#%#@%@#%
Will I be able to play background music while I play PS4 games?
Yes, the Music Unlimited streaming service will allow you to listen to music while you play PS4 games. A subscription to Music Unlimited is required. Get full details here....
I made the same mistake. I was like "damn they delayed the console?"
^^^^^
Read the link I posted. It's not about the game being exclusive it's about the hypocrisy of EA.
First excuse was the "powa of the clowd" is needed for this game (yet comes out on Xbox360).

Bad Examples.
I get your point but you do realize t...
What this shows is that EA was full of $@%@% saying they are console agnostic.

I Look forward to Battlefield 4, but after that I am buying all used games if I have to buy a EA game from now. I just pray that the NFL license agreement ...
3rd party exclusivity makes no sense in the beginning of a console launch.
Unless there is a @%#@%@ load of money involved. We all know MS has a big checkbook.
can't see why.... they wouldn't release Tital Fall on both consoles.
Yet EA states they are console agnostic. BS
3 million (say this many buy the game on Xbox1)* 60 U.S. dollars = 180 million U.S. dollars
6 million (both platforms) * 60 U.S. dollars = 360 million U.S. dollars
Yea they stated ps4 had higher resolution but looked blurrier That statement made zero sense as it has ~50% more pixels and less work to upscale to 1080p vs xbox720.
Perhaps this is why Ea is offering Ms timed dlc to make up for the inferior version?
Next gen version supports more players and has larger maps.
Bf3 on console was "good" but the mapsize for only 24 players was way too big. Also BF3 promotes and rewards teamwork far more than Call of Duty does.
In fact, more often than not, the top scorer in BF3 is not always the player with top 3 kills.
PTFO ALL DAY.
Sidenote: I wish Sony would release a Socom for Ps4, Zero-hour is way too far off.
Totally agree. I like how the lights can go, but I hope there is more paths and perhaps you can go above the tunnel.
