Agreed. Especially now that games are getting bigger in size.

The standard hard drive space for the consoles is ~420GB (estimated 80 for OS etc).

Let's say most retail or AAA games are now ~ 40gigs. You divide the 420 / 40 and That's only 10.5 games that can fit on your HDD (unless you delete them or buy more storage).

Sure, you can delete the game, but then when you want to play it again, you have to download 40gigs which can take...

This article is correct, here is why

(Formula for success using "meth-math")

11/15/2013 = 11 * 15 / 2013 =(165/2013)= 0.08 * (ps)4 =0.33

0.33 = Halflife 3 as a PS4 exclusive in 2039

11/15/2013 = 11+ 15 +2013 = 2039

Halflife 3 in 2039 confirmed as Ps4 exclusive. Sony will support the Ps4 for 26 years also confirmed.

Only 10 years after the Last Guardian, Call of Duty: Black Ghost O...

Volkama - I will sell you a set of STD's. 100$ for 3, 150$ for 5.

Great deal, much better than investing in bridges and these gifts last a life time! You can even share them with your friends and family(?).

^^^^all of the above.

I am still questioning why the Xbox1 controller and ps4 controller are the same price.

How dafuq can MS charge 60 for a controller with no built-in rechargeable battery?

Please explain that. When you can actually justify why the pricing for Xbox 1 controller is the same price as a ps4 controller, then you win the internet.

@jhawk

I agree. Most Wii owners bought first party titles for the most part. Granted this meant more money in Nintendo's pocket but the attachment rate wasn't as high as Xbox or ps3.

In the begining of the PS3 life cycle the attachment rate was horrible but improved later on due to exclusives. I think with the Wiiu Nintendo has been holding off of their usual big titles for a bit too long i.e. mario kart, smash brothers, mario(insert sport), Zelda, M...

GREAT POINT.

Why the $%#$%^#$ would write about services not available in Australia?

First off you can change the ION battery on the dualshocks.

Second the controllers cost the same but one is rechargeable with no extra purchase necessary. If the Xbox1 controller was cheaper, then no argument necessary.

If the battery dies in a dualshock, you unscrew 6-7 screws and swap out with new battery NOT a new CONTROLLER. It takes less than 5 minutes.

Yea but compare prices with the PS4 controller. If anything the Xbox controller should be way cheaper since it has no touchpad and no ION battery.

That's my argument, its not about the preference but that the controller does less for the same price.

If it was 10$/10% cheaper, than really no one should complain.

Not trying to troll, but that's BS.

To replace the ION battery you remove 7-8 screws and disconnect battery and reconnect new one.

It takes less than 5 minutes and ONLY have to be done after 2-3 years (if that, I still have a SIXAXIS controller with no rumble that I can play for hours which is over 6 years old).

I don't think it's wallet rape, but definately doesn't justify the start price when the PS controller is sam price with rechargable controller and nightlight/touchpad.

MS fans should demand a price change in the controller. You guys are getting jipped.

I think something like it will happen eventually. I quit on home because of the loading and waiting to do stuff i.e. poker, pool, bowling.

Skype actually is useful if you want to keep in touch with family members over long distance all at the same time.

Example
Joe lives in New York
Sally lives in London
Adam lives in South Africa.

With Skype premium you can videochat with all 3 (+ more) at once. For some this is cheaper than people all buying a console + camera. In the long term, I will say "party video chat" on consoles would be cheaper.

@smokey technically it depends on your carrier.

There are companies that that have small print, stating if they catch you using Voip (voice over ip) or SIP devices they will charge you extra on your data plan. They track you down by doing packet captures, and see what ports you are using.

If your phone is on wi-fi, you are good to go. Before attempting to use skype, try to look at the terms of your contract first.

Yes, believe it or not Skype sometimes offers cheaper long distance rate than traditional Telco companies and mobility companies. Especially to the middle east.

^^^ Skype is free with one to one video calls on skype enabled devices.

Skype premium is for party chatting (more than 2 connections i.e. 3-way video call) and to dial actual phone numbers. Similar software for business to do the same thing cost thousands i.e. telepresense, citrix, etc.

MS should offer this as a bonus to XBL gold members for free but at least you get the app for free to do one to one calls with devices other than Xbox's.
