Looking forward to this. I hated Socom 4 and Seth Luisi for turning the game into a wanna-be 3rd person Call of Duty.
The maps were crap, the cover system broken, and the over the sholder pointless. AND to release DEMOLITION as DLC was the ultimate sin.
As bad as Socom Confrontation was, it was better than Socom 4.

Protip: Try taking a wireless laptop and doing speedtest's from where your ps4 is. Try this site - speakeasy.net.
if your speed test on your laptop NEXT to the ps4 is the same - see below.
Now go to where your wireless router is and plug directly into a port from your laptop via an ethernet cord. Test again now
If your speeds are slow even while wired in - then call your ISP and tell them what'...
THe steps to follow are ok - but never update a router's firmware if you have to. Updating firmware can lead to other issues, and sometimes there are bugs where you lose your configuration out of the flash.
Wifi is not 100% reliable and from time to time you might lose connection. Reasons being:
A)Duplicate IP possiblle if DHCP lease times are long/or alot of the devices on the local network
B) PSN will kick you off if you do not have suffic...

I am holding off on premium as I would be "rewarding DICE/EA" for releasing a game that shouldn't of passed quality control.
Once I am satisfied, I will purchase premium because to be perfectly honest - There is not much coming out for either Xbone or PS4 until march.

It made the process longer. I thought it was cool at first because you had to carry water/food but it was not that much more challenging.
I would of preferred harder enemies that came out after sunset too.
I agree. Freeside (freemont street) was way too small and very generic.
The Strip was cool - but the loading between the sections was annoying.
They did Hoover Dam well - but the area's outside the strip were not done that well -- There should of been more city scapes.

There was 2 possible Oh sh*t moments, one where you are skydiving from space to helghan. It was cool but made absolutely zero sense.
And 2, at the very end of the game when you get knocked out of the troop carrying ship - and all of sudden start floating up....wtf was that?
