I pray that there's more to his game besides just L.A. as far as cities go. If they go the 1 city option, They are basically copying EA's approach, except this time with a real city.

OMG I almost converted to HD-DVD....The blu-ray association better drop prices like its cool if they plan to survive or drop bigger titles PRONTO. Lord of the rings would sound good right about now.
But LOTR trilogy will launch on both formats by the end of the year. Blue ray won the "300" battle... soo hmmm.

EA screwed the pooch when they bought out the NFL License. No competition means boring and no innovation. They do milk franchise and they release games with glitches galore.
The only thing EA has going right, is Command and Conquer and Burn-out.

perhaps this game isn't for everyone? I was going to buy it because of the massive hype but now I think I will rent it. I thought Rouge squadron
blew and I didn't like the gameplay. But it was pretty...I guess.
Perhaps they should of had the option of getting off the dragon and going mid evil on your enemies? Or heck even had some kind of multi-player option since now adays, the new standard is multiplayer and singleplay on one game.
please jusitify how HDDVD has a slight edge is picture quality? Especually when they are both are 1080p and support Deeper black and Super White?
No offence but its sounds like a Cloudy statement. I need proof. THey are almost equal except that HDDVD has more extra options. Also prices of movies are about the same from 20-25~. The only price difference is the player. But once you get over that, wouldn't you stick with the format with more movie selections?

on the other hand it seems IGN is the only place to get a decent un biased review as of late. Even 1up forums and comment boards got overran by so many 360 fanboys, that there were insulting everything Sony including a TV tuner that no one has seen.
um big poppa .. Sony owns like a giant stake in MGM. MGM has been exclusive already and is one side that can't switch sides.
I don't think Universal will just jump sides and only got with Blue-ray. THey will go neutral like Warner Bros perhaps? Its a win win for the consumer but a loss for HDDVD. Universal then could re-release the movies in Blu-ray and more money.

I agree MK completely. This game is Digital Crack. Once your hooked, its hard to put down. Reminds me of when Halo 1 first came out, and how addicting that game was. This game deserves at least a 8.5, but not a 10/10 because well, there is no single player. People might also cry fowl because of such high ratings for a Multiplayer only game with "good" graphics.

The graphics are great but its not Bioshock.
The sound is good but its not up there with Heavenly Sword.
The game control is great, but its not as sharp as a Tony Hawk Game.
The multi-player is great but there is no ending for the game.
I agree perhaps reviewers are over thinking the reviews. Its a multiplayer only game and nothing more. Its not trying to be Halo and its Not trying to be BattleField 2042.

1 demo and a couple trailers aren't a *HUGE* update. Drtfsouf you just invited 360 fanboys to come in and bash the PSN. If anything, last weeks update is also bigger since it had 2 demos and various trailers.
yea but they releases jack-squat during E3. What makes you think that Leizpieg will be any different? Once games start coming out, I got a feeling there will be a huge drought of demos until maybe November.
I think this game will smoke Burn-out. I do hope they get rid of the "glowing arrows" checkpoints though.
