I understand 360 fanboys feelings.
I'm a PS3 fanboy, but I always thought that this exclusive thing is just utter s**t.
It doesn't matter which side you're on, this exclusive thing s**t storm will get you on both sides, one time on a side, the next on the other.
I shat my pants.
Finally you've decided to write an article instead of videoblogging.
Kudos for that.
The point about the HD resolution is that Microsoft will force devs to make look good what good is not.
360 is holding developer's lazy ass to work accordingly to the money they ask to us customers.
It's not about processing power, it's all about money.
360 is easier to develop for, so they start to work on it, and then just port in the quickest/cheaper way to PS3.
You would see how thing would shift if PS3 will manage to surpass the 360.
If you the exclusives there's no comaprison
Uncharted 2 vs Gears 2/Splinter Cell Conviction
GT5 vs Forza 3 ...
The better thing about these 6 months is that he won't lose time twitting and blogging and he will work on his game, since acts speaks louder than words. LOL
I remember when I saw his videoblogs every day and I was constantly asking myself:
"Yeah, he went to the cinema with his sons, he went to shopping, he games, but when the f**k does he work???"
But I love his being really down to Earth, unlike many other in the business
Thanks :)
And yeah it's somehow refreshing, even if the old console war bashing is always fun if done with some respect for the game and the gamers.
It's part of the game.
You can't be a fan of Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers at the same time, but you have to respect the supporters and the players.
That's how I live this war.
Yes, you and the others who said that he should know better when and how to speak are completely right, but he has got a point, and he had at first the guts to support his stuff, even if not in a really elegant positive and constructive way.
PS I'm really pleased that this is a diagonal argument where people are not sided just 360/PS3.
I don't know about laws in the US, but in Italy when you buy a CD/DVD/Game, you buy the right to use the product for your enjoyment in private and the producer gives you the physic support to enjoy the media, but actually you haven't bought the disc, you have bought some kind of license to use the stuff.
When you use the product in pubblic, you have to pay the copyright/royalty fees.
We all know games are really too expensive, but if GStop or whoever pays people 30 bucks fo...
360 owners have been screwed worse than Jenna Jameson, but finally their opening their eyes.
360 is dead.
If you don't buy a PS3 your butt hurts.
Mr Marbles is the living proof.
Have you ever seen parents buying 360s to their sons because it was cheaper, and the kids starting to complain since they wanted the PS3.
And parents saying: "No way! PS3 costs too much! This other thingie has even more pre-owned games. If you want the 360, fine...otherwise we can get out of here now"
I saw this stuff too many times.
A price cut won't ever hurt, but I think that whoever wanted a 360 has it already.
Mass Effect 2 could be a system seller, IF, it doesn't go multiplat, and still ME sold only less than half of GeOW 2.
If Ubisoft don't release "Tom Clancy" game on the PS3, they should not bother to bring all the other TC frachise (Rainbow 6, Ghost Recon, Endgame, Hawx and whatever), since they piss the fanbase off.
A fanbase that, in an economic recession period, is very likely to oycott you.
Then, by February 2010, PS3 will have sold 30 million pieces.
It will still be behind the 360 but with a userbase that you have to consider.
And this will be the same for Mass Effect, ...
I always said that R&C is superior even to Mario.
Jafe is a man that dies if he keep his mouth shut...
LOL!
If they announce now ME (the first) for PS3 is the same thing as announcing ME2 for PS3 too.
It's a timed exclusive, it's crystal clear, but if they announce it at this point, some people won't buy ME2 for 360 or PC.
After 2 or 3 months ME2 will be released, they'll announce it for PS3.
This is my dream, this is my hope.
I haven't got a gaming PC and I won't buy an unreliable piece of hardware just for ME or GeOW, even if it should mean losing the chance to ...
There's one trend I see and hear.
The people who used to be 360 fanboys are every day more silent, and they're buying a PS3.
The articles about 360 superiority are every day less.
People now want PS3 to sell a lot.
Microsoft can't manage to catch good exclusives anymore.
Quite a good attempt to control the damage.
I won't disagree with you because you actually thought at least five minutes before typing unlike 99% of 360 fanbase.
I bet on a gap of 2 millions in favour of 360 by the end of March.
