Halo had its ass served to it on a plate when Call of Duty 4 hit store shelves. I disagree. No game will ever be able to have a storyline like MGS... ever. This game is like reading a beautiful novel of an assassin growing old and experiencing emotional pain and loss on a realistic level. Just thinking about this story line is giving me shivers... it's so good.

Wasn't there articles similar to this about six months ago? The console war won't be over until the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 cease production and the final numbers are analyzed as well as posted on the Internet.
But see, Microsoft was already a multi billion dollar company before the 360 ever came into their line of thoughts. Hell, if they lost all the money they gained on the 360, they would still be worth billions of dollars.
They don't care about quality product because they know that there's enough money to fall back on in case their product is rendered obsolete. That's why they released the console when it was faulty. They only care about milking customers for money.
