In terms of a track record, that's pretty good to say the franchise has been around since 1999.
From 2001 to 2014 there has been ten games.
Keep in mind the amount of video games that has Mario in it is 60+, I actually lost count it's that high.
On that basis it kinda proves Halo isn't milked, just well updated.
Gears still has plenty of potential story wise.
There is bound to be remnants of Locust that need wiping out.
