I don't follow Nintendo related news much, but It's impossible to not hear about Sonic Mania.
A pomeranian that has telekinetic abilities, and can inflate itself, pick me up, and carry me to new and exciting foreign lands.
I don't really think that counts an animal.
this looks really neat! Love the cartridge usb drive as well.
combat piracy by combatting sales...smart!
What a wonderful article.
It's not that I'm against digital downloads, I just want to have the OPTION of playing a game I own that is disc-based.
I don't know how I feel about this. The dude is 24 years old. He began working on the PR1 in his parent's garage at the age of 17. He's smart and driven. I get that he said a few things that were "off-color" but c'mon people... Can people explain to me why he is hated so much? Did he really get fired from his own company because of supporting a pro-trump Super Pac?
So, they didn't recolonize the game industry, because, well, turning something on its ear means rotating it 90 degrees, whereas turning something "on it's head" (aka, a bucking of trends or a true revitalizing of an industry) means the head would need to turn 180 degrees (to be upside down). I suppose, by Reggie's logic, they feel they are about halfway there.
I disagree. Details like this MAY go unnoticed. There's no doubt. But, when some people, who really don't speed run through games, actually stop and admire how much work was put into a given game, and NOTICE a detail like, it makes the experience damned near magical.
There's something about the small details in games that make the biggest impact. The dust cloud that mario kicks up when he rapidly changes direction. The way a character may like Toon Link in Wind...
This is same feeling I had with Trump becoming president. Hilarious at first, then it all turns depressing.
One thing I noticed in this video is that motion of the head is almost non-existant in Andromedia. They aren't using their necks, and they aren't really shifting their weight. In Mass Effect 1, Ashley looks to be cocking her head to the side, or using general lateral movement, and when she is standing and shifting, it looks so much more natural. In andromedia, it's not just the stilted facial animations, it's the entire head and neck, it's far too stiff. Wow.
This really piss me off. Microsoft. You had it perfect with the launch of the 360. You already HAD indie game development. You have Xbox Live Arcade, hell you even designed an entire framework around C# with XNA to allow people to make games for your platform. You got greedy. You asked for more money from these devs. you started charging randomly for "platform maintenance fees" and the worst part? you forced your indie devs to have to pay 100 dollars for each patch they made to thei...
Can anybody tell what kind of keyboard he has with what looks like the red escape key?
I had a micro and loved it. Played 100 hours of golden sun on that tiny screen. Insane battery life as well.
I initially liked Primal. Loved the nighttime stuff that went on, and riding on a sabertooth tiger, holding a flaming club ignited a fantasy I didn't know I had.
But then it did nothing with it. It felt incredibly tiresome.
4 had an interesting story, and a decent villain.
3 is by far my favourite of the series.
But...Ubisoft, how about we make a new damned IP instead of going off the deep end?
Jim Sterling is one of the most honest, most respected critics out there. If you give up on him because of how he scored either Zelda or Fallout 4, it's your loss. I suggest you try to absorb everything he puts out before making such idiotic proclamations of his integrity.
To Realms point, Nintendo's dismissal of their partnership back with the "Nintendo Playstation" is why Sony went out and made their own console in the first place.
The Vita was such a powerful system, dual analog sticks and everything. Really annoyed that Sony didn't do more with this thing.
incredibly boring name for an otherwise interesting sounding game.
