I asked my friend what made him finally decide to get the game, and he said the IGN review.
After laughing a few moments I said "oh right, because they gave GTA IV a perfect score, so it makes since that you'd wait until they voice their opinion of THIS game..."

I still think the best looking nuke is from the game "mercenaries 2". The game sucked beyond belief but my god that nuke looked amazing.
...and this game wasn't that good.

it felt like they were counting down the days for the three year anniversary because the well is dry people. Once people realize that the joke was on them, the gimmick had officially run it's course, sort of like white sunglasses, then we can all get on with our lives and live happily ever after.

some of them were no brainers, and others were just confusing.
Uncharted 2 had the best graphics for a third person game while killzone 2 had the best graphics for a first person game.

Man, the graphics in the game are are really bad.
the multiplayer levels are just so ugly to look at.
Low quality texture work and odd shading/colors.
I dont like how certain rooms look to clean, sparse even.

I think the cover system kicks the ass out of Gears. What they did in this game PERFECTED the ideas conveyed in Gears. Not to mention that the silk smooth animations that initiate getting in and out of cover.
...and people wonder why I left Florida.

to be completely honest, After playing the demo for brutal legend. I found it to be rather underwhelming. I love Tim Shaffer, but the game felt real rough all around. Graphics weren't that great, gameplay seemed repetitive (and this is for a demo for Christ sakes) and the sound quality was actually quite odd, with some voices coming off as distorted when they shouldn't be and/or modulation between treble and bass.

definitely fake. look closely at the image, specifically at the borders of the billboard. the perspective is wrong. also, you can see jaggys around the edges.
