The hardcore gaming community only represents a small demographics of console purchasers, majority are casual consumers, look at the Wii sales, 100 million in sales, dominated the competition and it won purely because it appealed to the casual consumers, that's a huge market of consumers!
The main reason you would be purchasing Titanfall even if it had a Single Player would be for the Multiplayer anyway, I don't see the issue. How many of you are buying Battlefield 4 for the Single Player?
I don't mind, the MP looks incredible, I'm treating it as a Battlefield game where I only buy it for the MP, I have zero interest in the SP.
The winner of this generation will be the console that attracts the casual consumer.

Actions speak louder than words. After GTA V and the digital copy issues with PSN, hard to trust Sony and PSN.
It'll take more than 50 hours, PSN is so slow when it comes to download speeds. I'm sticking to a physical copy for this game.
Super Mario 3D World graphically looks better than any next-gen game I've seen so far, that game is gorgeous. Nintendo doesn't need high end graphics to make their games look good, Super Mario Galaxy is a perfect example of this. SMG looked incredible and it was SD. Nintendo games age well as well, you can't say the same for Playstation/Xbox games.
I'm purchasing both, but if I had to pick one, it would be Destiny. As much praise as Titanfall is getting, Bungie is the man. I love all their games and Destiny looks to be the game I've always wanted.
Should lead to some really interesting applications and Indie games. I'm interested to see developers use the Kinect, it has potential to be something special.
Monster Hunter could help the PSVITA, but come on, Pokemon is going to decimate it. Unless they can drop the VITA price to $150 and launch some killer exclusives, I don't see the VITA surpassing the 3DS anytime soon, especially with Smash Bros 3DS on the way as well.
Even Yoshida knows the PSVITA can't compete with the 3DS + Pokemon.

Valve entering the console industry is going to be fantastic, more competition. This may lead Sony and MS to making online MP free, offer digital sales like Steam, Digital trading and maybe, just maybe, Mods, cause SteamBox will be offering all of this.
Did I say the Cloud makes games have better graphics? I'm interested in the Dedicated servers and the AI controlled enemies via the cloud (Yes that's possible, it's in Titanfall)
AMD hyped this card so much and the benchmarks doesn't even exceed the Titan, let alone the GTX 780. New NVIDIA cards are coming in November, I'll pass on this.
