Oculus Rift is next-generation, we've had prettier graphics (1080p 60 FPS) for years now on PC, this is not next-generation gaming. SteamBox is doing something completely unique and could very well shape gaming as the PC model is far more consumer friendly and developer friendly than the console model (e.g. XBOX/PS4)
Let's hope now they removed the network lag because Killzone 3 was incredibly laggy, I'm very much looking forward to this game.
Not interested in BF3 maps anyway, I'll stick to the definitive version, PC.
I've yet to see anyone not love this game, so excited to get my hands on it.
Titanfall is releasing in Spring, In between March and June. Halo 5 will most likely come out November 2014. I'm super excited for this game as well, can't wait to play it on PC.

Why would I want to pay for a console with Xbox Live and BF4 premium on consoles? Battlefield on consoles is god awful, you might as well play CoD, because that's what it is.
Consoles - 24 players, low resolution, 30 FPS, small maps, less vehicles, CQB engagements
PC - 64 players (More if server hacked), HD resolution (1440p for me), 60+ FPS, large maps, far more vehicles, engagements from all ranges, PC is lead platform, more mature community, being able to optimize your hardware for best performance and lastly, the game is cheaper, you can get BF4 for PC for $40 on CDKEYs.
This has nothing to do with PS4, Mantle API won't be on the PS4... PS4 has a low level OpenGL custom API.
PS3 looks to have slightly sharper textures, but both look god awful, thank god I own a PC.

God damn the PS3 version looks terrible.
Sorry but being able to get games like Splinter Cell Blacklist at launch for $15 compared to $60 for consoles and where I'm from $100 destroys PS+ or Used Games. With PS+ you don't choose what you get, with PC you choose what you want and you get it for cheaper and the superior version with better graphics and mods.
Well we don't know the price of the Steam box yet, but with no online fee and far cheaper games, the system will pay itself off eventually.
