its not that they can't touch the PS3- they've already surpassed it. Why mention a console that you've already beaten (ie: the PS3)? Everyone knows that the 360's the one to shoot for.
4 games is hardly milking nowadays. Triologies and tetralogies are quickly becoming standard for big franchises. MGS and DMC being perfect examples.
