I have a hard time believing a game in development for more than 12 years ports to PS3 with these results. funny, but seriously, the key was THQ siding with Microsoft on this one. Once it was announced 360 would get exclusives and once Microsoft started backing with media, the 360 fanboys suddenly think it's an instant classic from KAOS. LOL
Honestly, it's not that big a difference. Considering a new system to run the little difference would probably cost 400 or more and I already can get close with what I already have I'd say no thanks. It's not enough of a difference for me to invest in. Maybe devs should try to reach the best of whats already out (PS3) before they say they need a new system. Do they need a new system to finally reach PS3 graphics?
So Crytek must have stopped work on the PS3 version immediately following that statement they made of how they were getting better results on PS3. Actually, once they made that statement I think the Microsoft call came in an hour later and "encouraged" them to focus on the 360 version.

LOL...that's what happpens when you sell your soul to Microsoft. Once they own your commitment for exclusivity they do what they please. Reading the above comments about people hoping for a new generation of consoles being released, you can tell they don't own a PS3.
