You asked for an argument I simply proposed one. I dont think anyone is against the feature just indifferent as you suggest.
Didn't they just recently do futuristic versions? Where would you like them to go? Theres only two directions and they've used up both. That being said I'd still like to see a really well done Vietnam COD or BF.
Blaming video games is just there to take the focus off of gun control, that's it.
"We recommend you wait". If this was another company that currently has a VR device and they told people to just wait the internet would implode from all the outrage articles.
And if it did we'd just hear about something else.
It doesn't have it now and Sony seems to be doing just fine.
Well a valid argument could be made that if a company spends its time focusing on BC it takes time away from focusing on new games and therefore you end up with little to no new games to play on your new console, sound familiar? Personally I dont care either way, if it has it fine I wont use it but if other people get some use out of it so be it, I just hope it doesn't shift Sony's focus away from what they've been doing best and giving us amazing new game experiences.
You're right we have had this discussion before, I wonder how many more times we'll get to have it before the console comes out? I dont care rather it has it or not but at this point I hope it does for no other reason then we wont have to hear about it anymore.
Took you two play through's to figure out it "isn't that great" huh? Why would you play through the game a second time if it was the "most overrated game" lol? Honestly my dude that's the funniest comment I've seen here in a long time.
There's more to being "consumer friendly" then just providing backwards compatibility. Choosing to go digital was your choice and sometimes choices come with consequences. That's why I chose the safer path of holding onto my previous console for a period of time and predominantly buying physical.
75 million units sold for a console that has no BC, that's probably how he came to that conclusion.
Your loss.
If we're really being honest BC isn't as important as some make it out to be and it will sell regardless much like PS4 did.
The problem with your comment is the fact that the people making those statements aren't Playstation fans and their comment history proves that. And lets not pretend like there isn't hypocrites on both sides, before x power and resolution didn't matter, now its all that matters.
Or what? PS4 didn't play PS3 games and it seemed to work out ok for Sony.
"they" who?
It was recently revealed therefore its a revelation, noun, "a surprising and previously unknown fact". "Almost all games", now theres a load of bull. You seem upset Septic.
"2 outfits in Fortnite cost over $50", damn that seems like something the community should be outraged over, that's ridiculous.
Wouldn't bet on it, we heard this before with other titles for xbox and it never panned out. Now with the revelation of micotransactions its looking less and less likely.
Mission accomplished NRA.
Well guess what, they can have my violent video games when they pry them from my cold dead hands.
