I'm pretty sure if it was a one console world...the price of the console itself will exceed it's actual value by a large amount...
imagine if the Wii was the only console out there and costs $1000 just to purchase the system and on top of that you would have to pay for the online experience ($50 a year at least) and put a large price tag on mediocre games and then you can understand what a 1 console world would feel like

I don't think MS is in any position to pay tons of money for exclusives right now. With the economy the way it is I think MS will let a lot of exclusives become multiplatform as they finally realize that there's no stopping the PS3, no matter how much more expensive it is. I 100% agree with you. 2009 is looking to be very crowded this year for the PS3, but if ME2 does come out as multiplatform (360, PS3) then I'll for sure buy it for my console of choice. EA are cash whores so there's no reason to think that the franchise will stay exclusive...but we'll wait and see.
it might be just me but Fear 2 is for the PS3 as well...and when you can find a decent exclusive that comes out after March let me know...the funny thing is that the only exclusive that is worth buying in that list is Star Ocean 4 (HUGE FAN regardless of reviews)
i'll be enjoying killzone 2, uncharted 2, heavy rain, next ratchet & Clank, and whatever else is coming out this year while you're looking for 360's answer to PS3's lineup =)

agreed...but i'm pretty sure hellangelz is right...anyways it's not sony's responsiblity to make the developers include different features...it is the responsibility of the developers to implement the features that the PS3 is certainly capable of (warhawk, killzone 2)...lazy developers won't but developers like GG will...and small little touches like including this feature will draw more to the game and hopefully convince other developers to follow in their foot steps...hopefully lol
