Red Faction is also an open world game, with super power like gameplay. This sold better then Infamous on the 360, but didn't chart the top 20 for the PS3, meaning the sales pretty much don't exist.
Couldn't the argument then be made that even with two open world games in the top 10 that the 360 was domiant?
I have to disagree with both of you, Halo was the first to do a lot of what is not standard in FPS games.
1. The regen health instead of health packs.
2. Only getting to keep 2 weapons forcing people to gather and use
3. The third person control of vechiles.

No but current Europe numbers put 360 ahead, and in Japan PS3 outsells 360 by 2k a week.....
Also people are bringing up fight night, as a comparison.
Whats your stance on UFC, 2 months out now, and its stuck in the top 3 for the 360 while the PS3 version has vanished.

Its going to be like last year kids, a bucnh of singstar add-ons, some PsP functionality, an eye pet like thing, and then 1 good trailer for a game coming out 2 years later

I could do the same thing, FPS are no longer the most popular genre, as JRPG's have become the focal point for all major discussions.

Installing games to your harddrive is pretty last gen as well, PS2 never installed anything.
