I'm in the same boat as you man, I live six states away from my family whom I have to support along with myself. You're just sitting there assuming that you are the only one who has it bad. I've worked with kids before too. You obviously don't know what a Master's program involves, but that's not me saying I have it worse or better. And by girlfriend, I meant full on partner that I've been living with for 5 years. My point is, you're life isn't as terr...
That's a gross misconception to say that SWTOR is only for people with no girlfriend, kids, etc... I have a girlfriend of 6 years and am getting my Master's degree and still find plenty of time to meet my gaming needs. You sir, are probably doing something wrong and I am offended by the idiocy that you spout.
OH you are so right, the BIGGEST reason we come back to play games is the FPS. /s Piss off and get a grip on the idiotic nonsense that you just spouted. People come back to a game for ALL that it is, not some tech spec that most people have no clue about.
The G11, IMO, is one of the single dumbest and worthless weapons ever.
And you sir fail at life. RE4 was a great game in itself but a horrible addition to the Resident Evil Universe. You contradict yourself too, you say RE5 was NOTHING like 4, which implies absolutely no similarities, but they were similar as you sated in style and control. FAIL.
Don't hate because you don't like someone else's opinion. What are you, twelve years old?
The whole idea behind that is that, at least how I understood and took it, is that the Story behind Mass Effect is bigger than Shepard and any single one of his squadmates. I loved Ash but think that how they handled it in the 2nd game was perfect, you were gone for what, 2 years? People move on, but anyway, I digress, the fact that they show Kaiden means that Ash/Kaiden, depending on previous choices, is in the game.
In all, you are in luck, lol.
@theonlylolking You sir, fail at life and everything in it. Oh yes, MS forces devs to do things /s. If you want to look at a company that actually has great influence in how a dev handles a project, go look at Walmart.
@cyborg I agree that the CoD fans will be CoD fans and have been sorely disappointed in the graphic quality of the games since 4.
Very disappointed in the demo. One of my biggest issues with shooters, and I know it's very picky, is when a player pulls the slide back on a weapon even after reloading half way through a magazine. It drives me nuts because doing so would actually waste a round. What do you guys think?
Looks awesome though.
That is a HUGE assumption. I know a lot of people that prefer to beat single player, or at least get partway through, before playing MP.
That's assuming that people want those types of hollywood characters. The only person I ever got particularly attached to in the MW games was Price, mostly because I loved his stache.
I was excited for this but now I'm kinda disappointed in the direction its taking. Oh well.
That would be nice but Sony has stated they can't make a cross game chat system on the PS3 due to RAM limitations. Bums me out but what can you do?
I'm just waiting for media backlash, "Boy plays game and kills sister: games are bad!"
What an awful whiny article. The author just comes off as a self-proclaimed old school gamer who misses his atari and nintendo. Achievements and trophies are an integral part of gaming now, and bloody hell you can turn off notifications if it really doesn't suit you. I felt like a moody teenage girl wrote that.
I'm really looking forward to this one, hope it lives up to the hype.
Not fighting here, stating an opinion and belief. I would gladly engage in some thoughtful discussions on any game topic. That said, that is something that is few and far between on N4G. I was able to play the BF3 Alpha and I was thoroughly impressed at the quality of the build at that stage. That being said, I'm getting both games for entirely different reasons. I simply don't enjoy hearing the "well this one sells more so it's better" argument. Apologies if you th...
But that doesn't necessarily mean that MW3 is automatically a better game than BF3. That's where the article sounds moronic as he is almost arguing quantity==quality. Sales are tangible and therefore can't be used as a measure of quality as quality in itself is subjective and riddled with threats to validity. Both EA and Activision banter back and fourth, the nature of the business it seems, and yet no one is more right than the other as there are scores of gamers that will tak...
Author sounds a little butt hurt. I love this whole idea that more==better. So in essence his and many people in the comments' arguments are that because CoD sells more that BF is not as good. Hmmm, illogical argument is illogical. Anyway, people do realize that its not just EA doing the trash talking...
Every FPS has campers and while I will agree that CoD tends to have quite a few more than other games, the author of the article comes off as just a whiny complaining bitch. (To put it lightly)
The trolls be disagreeing with ya man!
The graphics looked nice but the gameplay seems pretty standard as far as 3rd Person Shooters go, I like the idea of the sandstorm but that alone isn't enough to warrant the "mind-blowing" tag.
Like you, I want to see more, something that actually is amazing and astounding. It's unfortunate that you have so many fanboys who won't give your comment a chance.
...now let's see h...
