Just reading some of these comments and the article makes me believe that there really is no hope for humanity. It's a wonder game companies can still make a profit if we are the people backing the systems; we are all so misinformed and too proud one particular console.

It is unfortunate to see someone pass away, no matter the reason. But I would like to know his eating and exercise habits (among other things). The media loves to pick up these stories and blast away at gaming in general.
Wow, I'm looking forward to this game but seriously, having articles that claim Killzone has the most realistic snow is absurd and ridiculous.

The Wii is not for everyone, same with the other consoles. Just because you think it's the best doesn't mean that it's the "end all" console.
For me, the Wii has some enjoyable classic, established franchises (Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid). But other consoles have it beat in overall ability, IPs, and multiplayer.
Saying that, that doesn't mean that the other consoles are better. Stop trying to flame and be happy that everyone ...
For me, (something that PCZ can't seem to understand), there aren't many killer, must-have, games for the Wii. People like each console for different reasons. While the Wii may have some good games, for me, there just isn't any replayability and there is not a good multiplayer service.
My Wii is a big white paperweight.
