N4G isn't known for its maturity but nonetheless, you're right. Although I haven't had much faith in Game Informer lately, some of the reviews have simply struck me as odd. But oh well, any smart gamer knows that a review means little. It's only with controller in hand and game in system tray that we can truly make up a decision about a game.

I had a lot of fun on the beta and I think Live has a better overall multiplayer experience so I'll go with that and the PC version, just because we know that's where it will shine.
How is requiring people to reach a higher rank for a certain weapon an issue? Its a means of separating the lower tier players from the top, new from the veterans, etc. There has to be incentive, other than aesthetic changes, to reach higher ranks.

I have to whole heartedly agree with your comment. Origins took me a bit longer because I read every codex and did everything I could. I imagine the reviewer here didn't read every bit of lore and pretty much blasted through the quests, not taking his time. I'm sure we will see alternate appearance packs soon.

"True Gamers think this game is way above average?" I'd like to hear your definition of a true gamer. You have naught credibility to speak in absolution. You'll get legions of people who will defend any of the games you just listed because for them, the others don't compare.
