I laughed with the Backward compatibility argument.
many old games run like sh!t. Take halo1 as example: it has a bad framerate on EVERY pc with a geforce GPU.
and working with dosemulator for games will give you much frustration, problems with emulating the wrong soundblaster, setting up a virtualdrive, framerate too fast,.. sound is jerky...
even the games of the win98 era don't work:
AoE2: wrong colors
quake: VERY BAD framerate for VERY B...
uncharted had already freezing issues before, particulary in the bunker

heavenly sword deserves its mediocre score, because it's too short, u can finish it in 4 hours.
motorstorm: the campaign is boring.
Devil may cry 4 was punished because half way the game you have to backtrack the whole game (YES THE WHOLE WAY) + the boss fight were THREE times recycled.
the end boss of jak2 was hard, had to retry 100 times at least

that's your opinion, my PC is more poweful than a PS3 but yet I prefer my PS3 for some multiplats because of all the trouble on the PC: more chrashes,(far cry 2 for example), trouble with installing games, my PC that suddenly shut down due to windows update, driver problems ...

WTF you don't understand?!
1. it's a physics library rewritten for the cell, so physics calculations are less demanding for the CPU. We know such physics libraries already exists but they were not optimized for the cell. now developers have access to physics effects that are less demanding for the PS3.
and btw: I've never seen rope effects in the source games
