To be honest. I think people who wanted a XB1 at some point has bought one. But probably not new. As we know Pre-owned (second hand) does not count towards sales. As Microsoft get no money from second hand sales.
I vowed not to buy a XB1 for at least 2 years until some decent exclusive where out for it. But a local store was selling a second hand Day one edition with day one edition forza and dead rising. Plus FIFA stores on the hard drive. So a XB1 with 3 games 4 months aft...

Well they did post on the European Official PlayStation blog about a month ago. With a trailer in full English. Also promised more info about Deep Down for July. So I would assume it is at very least coming to Europe and Japan.

Also every Wednesday when the store updates 9 times out of 10 am nowhere near my PS4 infact am usually out of the house. So I can have a peek what is new on the store. If there is a new demo or DLC or game on there I simply buy it and download it via my phone. So it is ready for me when I get back.

100% agree with you. There is that rumour of 1.8FW coming out around Gamecom time adding media support. If this is true then I think 3D support was included with 1.8.
But with MS announcing 3D support. Then I think Sony decided to just roll it own in a small update before MS get a chance to roll it out on XB1.
I personally think Sony had this 3D update all finished and ready to go. But was holding off to include it in this suppose 1.8 media update around Gamecom time with a few other things included.
I think with MS announcing it. Sony just decided to put it into a minor update and get it out before MS does.

Got to say the XB1 version does stand up well compared to the PS4. But I noticed a few things in the PS4 version that is not in the XB1 version. Like look at the last picture the statue has lights on on the PS4. Yet on the XB1 version it has not lights.
As I understand the beta version on XB1 is 900p? But the fully game will be 1080p? Maybe there leaving little things out like that for the XB1 version to achieve 1080p in the final game?
