for one you wouldnt have to work for it, even more so people will sell it on ebay.
Thats not what happened at all... some people put off by the grinding or less than ideal dlc situation shit talked it while millions enjoyed it all year. Theres a reason this game never dropped off the hottest games list damn near all year.
Look beyond 2.0 into whats coming... Max light level is going to be around 280 light, and there will be a significant jump in power level from the now 170ish max to 280ish light.
A quick look at mission modifiers in 2.0 shows a recommended minimum of 240 light, with the modifier currently unable to be selected due to lack of light level in the current game.
TTK will have a fair amount of cinematics associated with moving the story forward, and using the questline system to further explain what your currently doing, as well explaining year one content a bit more.
If they would only incorporate the grimoire INTO the game it would be awesome.
This whole "destiny fixed the one thing keeping me away" is a facade... In actuality level now essentially means nothing with end game content now requiring minimum light levels to participate and be effective. If anything the game is now MORE restrictive with class items and your entire weapon loadout contributing to your over light level.
Funny how that works... On one hand they say a woman should be able to dress how she wants, but when it comes to a fictional character, or the people who CHOOSE to cosplay as such, no longer does that apply. #feministlogic
In spite of their multiple attempts to destroy this game, the man and team behind it, konami still scores big with this title that frankly they dont deserve to be apart of. While i am glad this masterpiece will get its due, as gamers we should no longer support anything they do and prove that we, the gamers hold the power of their success or failure.
that was the dealbreaker for me
Where was that "tenacious quality control" during the MCC collection release? Not to mention nothing about a 33% failure rate says "tenacious quality control"
MN9 has yet to release, and Red Ash is in early development stages... games get delayed all the time, i dont think that give the writer the right to count them as "strikes" before anybody has had a chance to play them.
Kickstarter give people this false sense of entitlement, would you rather them release a broken game or wait and get a better experience?
if you already own expansions 1/2 otherwise not
Until Dawn specifically is a single player story mode game, regardless the point is a large amount of people do not have access to high speed unlimited internet and until they do an all digital future is a problem, not only for consumers but the publishers as well. There is no doubt it would lead to less sales, because aside from people who simply cannot download 40-50gb, there are plenty of people who wont buy full priced digital games for a myriad of reasons.
With Fallout 4 and many other games coming (phantom pain, mario maker, xenoblade x, battlefront, persona 5, until dawn) im glad Sony are taking their time with these games rather than forcing them to hit a holiday 2015 deadline. Not only are there already way too many games coming out but in the end we get a better more polished game.
Thats perfectly fine because there is the physical option, without that it leaves ALOT of customers unable to purchase the game.
AW was easily the worst in the series
this is why a digital only marketplace would never work, a friend of mine took nearly 2 days to download the black ops 3 beta (12gb on dsl) unfortunately where she lives there is no better option for internet.
@bansai
As long as they use p2p (hosting the game on a persons home internet) this will always be an issue because of the myriad of variables associated with using this method. No amount of lag comp is going to fix this when there is no constant, if there were dedicated servers then this would be less of an issue, but seems the billions they make off the franchise isnt enough to warrant the investment.
Biggest waste of money this gen... well maybe 2nd *coughwatchdogscough
No, i play all kinds of games, many being retro games. I have a huge collection of amazing retro games and i wouldnt trade them for anything.
I reminisce, I reminisce...
