The neo has nothing to do with the ps5 which will be a next gen console. The neo is just an upgraded ps4, optional upgrade.

6 tflops is a new gen bud. Microsoft isn't going to say it because they want the slim to sell.
Sony has never complicated the what the neo is, even before it was confirmed it was said to be a compliment to the ps4. A more powerful ps4 that plays the same games. Instead of making the regular slim the parts were cheaper to just make it more powerful. There's no confusion with that.
Basically the xbox slim is getting no shine because everyone is confused about scorpio.

Actually the casual fanbase buys what is cheaper. The hard core fanbase which is a small % will buy power.
Phil spencer said quite a while ago that xbox consoles going forward will be backwards and forwards compatible with Windows 10. Thats why you will have the same everything just more power to push 4k, better frames and such. It is the next gen xbox, that will be how every gen is with Microsoft going forward.

Bottom line if you have a 4k tv and want to watch content or youbwant guaranteed 1080p 60fps then wait for neo. If not just buy the ps4.
After seeing the reveals of god of war, horizon zero dawn, and days gone played on ps4, I'm fine with the ps4 i already have.

According to Microsoft there will be no exclusives to the so called "king scorpio." Meaning no games will be built from the ground up for just the scorpio, everything will be scalable backwards and forwards.
The ps4 neo was never rumored to run native 4k. It was only said to stream 4k content and deliver guaranteed 1080p 60fps.
There also is a power gap between the neo and scorpio because the neo is meant to battle the xbox slim, it is a more powerful slim with VR in mind, not the ps5 which will battle the scorpio.
You said it right "pc gaming has been doing this for ages without complaining." But this ain't pc gaming, this is the console market.
If you can reveal games that look like god of war, horizon, and days gone, you show the customer how far their investment has come and the next step in the evolution of what happens when talented developers are given the time to harness the power of a console. Most fanboys swore up and down that the sony games were played on the neo instead of the ps4 because they look better than everything else. It's been truly hilarious.
I thought i was until i saw this game and please don't disrespect this game buy comparing it to state of decay, that game is garbage compared to this.
