You people blow this stuff way out of proportion. There is a small % of people who actually care about playing these last gen games on their new systems. You read that "sales skyrocket on amazon" and you probably instantly think big numbers. That's not the case. At peak there were a little over 300,000 people playing black ops 1 on backwards compatibility which quickly died down once people realized it was the same damn game as last gen. I even fell for it. Let's say xbox on...
To be honest, the 4k situation is not necessary at all. Hardly anyone has a 4k tv. I don't even know anyone with one. But these consoles are behind in terms of everything being 1080p and 60fps for sure.
